It seems the OP is asking more about the snake getting sick after already gravid....not breeding an already sick snake (since thats just stupid)
As Diem stated....I don't think antibiotics would fare well with eggs....especially Baytril
I have never spoken to anyone who had to administer antibiotics to a gravid snake, and was able to save the eggs. Every situation I know of, the eggs fail to thrive once laid, or have had to be removed by a vet.
Now....that isn't saying it isn't possible to get good eggs after antibiotics (in fact it most likely HAS happened)....but I would say it would be difficult to get a thriving clutch from a sick snake in the first place. So the health of that snake should be the one and only concern in a situation like that, and let the eggs fall where they may.
and yes....many many snakes have died from antibiotics....weather they couldn't handle the drug or it wasn't given properly....either way, I'm sorry for your loss!
