    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

and those are all the emails i have from me to him after that last one there he has not responded since now i hope you all believe me this guy is a Lier and a Flake becuase as i had said before after this he dissapeared on me an stopped anwsering my emails all together this was the very last response i got out of him an i have not been able to get in touch with him as i feel he Flaked on me an no longer anwsers any phone calls or emails an probably never had these animals to begin with thats why he has stopped communicating with me an no longer talks to me

I can attest to the fact that Bob indeed imported and sold Nile Crocs back in the late 90's - early 2000's as I saw them with my own two eyes.

That being said I have know Bob for nearly 15 years and he is not a person who ignores calls from potential customers. I think if Bob decided he did not want to work with you he surely has a valid (in his opinion at least) reason to make a business decision such as that. Or maybe he has been extremely busy the last couple of weeks and had no news to report regarding the importation.
 
Hello Kelli i absoultly agree but i know he checks his emails an i am sure based on when i have talked to Bob if hd intented not to sell to me i am sure he could have atleast told me so an if he has not got no news aon anything he could have atleast took 10 seconds out of his day to acknowledge my email or just tell me to check back in a couple weeks instead of dissapearing all together Like this i honestly thought he was a nice man from the get go i dont think so much of that anymore im not sure what to think som kind of communication would sure be appreciated i do know that to say the least perhaps he did import some back in the 90s early 2000's but i just wish he wuld not leave me hanging like this an atleast acknowledge 1 email no news yet check back in a couple weeks or somthin at this point in time i thikn maybe i should just look for a caiman that would be much easier then dealing with this struggle!
 
Is it possible that these sellers get tired of trying to make sense out of your communications? The lack of punctuation and capitalization makes it all very hard to follow.
 
So he told you there was a problem with the toe tags at the beginning of this month. The permits were approved but they haven't shipped yet.

He told you he had a show the following week in Japan and told you he would talk to you the following Tuesday. He talked to you on August 16th which was 12 days ago. No news yet on receiving them and agreed on your split payment. That was 12 days ago.

6 days later (August 22) you emailed him and told him you would check in every nine days.

Only two days went by (August 24) and you emailed saying yet again you will check with him every nine days.

Four days later you start this thread. It has been 11 or 12 days since you got a email back?

Yet you have also called him multiple times from blocked numbers and different numbers this month according to you and he picked up.
So what did he say?

You stated he told you that there was a problem with the tags at the beginning of month and he would let you know when he had some news. Those things take time to sort out. Several shows going on this month as well but I don't know which ones Bob attended.

So how many times a week did you call before you started calling from different numbers and blocked numbers while also emailing him this month?

That doesn't seem a little overboard to you?

Now I really have to ask you. Why would multiple sellers stop communicating with you before a transaction takes place? Why would they donate their time to answer questions and talk with you only to stop communication with you altogether before completing the transaction? Maybe, just maybe, it has something to do with you?
 
I agree with Mutimbo, its pretty much a big run-on sentence in caps, I think your being a bit extreme posting a thread like this because a seller didn't get you what you wanted when not one dollar exchanged hands, I personally have done business with Bob and never had a problem. After reading this and the other thread you posted regarding the same exact thing just a different person, why do you find it mandatory to post about how you didn't get what you wanted and your times was wasted as if you sat by the phone for months waiting on a call.
Seems like you just freak out, lose it and then come on here and post about how your time got wasted, you didn't lose anything no transaction ever took place get over it and post a wanted add about what your looking for.

I would've reacted the exact same way as Bob did, and I'm sure I'm not NEARLY as busy as he is.

Please do not take offense here, but clearly you are very anxious to get these animals, and when Bob doesn't respond in a manner that meets your expectations, you start a thread like this.

I've dealt with people like you before, and again, no offense, but I've just walked away myself, too. I don't have the time, energy nor the patience for the amount of attention you seem to require... you are what I call a 'very high-maintenance customer'.

The other major turn-off is your lack of mastery of the English language... again, no offense meant, but it's very difficult to try and decipher what you're even trying to communicate with all the spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors.

If I were Bob, I certainly wouldn't do business with you now that you started a bad guy thread on him.

Who needs the drama?
 
I have dealt with Bob Clark in the past, and he has always been great to deal with.

It seems like you have plenty of time available to call and email incessantly. Maybe Bob has decided that you have wasted too much of his time?

well how long does it actully take when there is a problem with the permit numbers matching the Numbers of the Toe Tags ? but for him' to Ghost, me an stop communicating all together" is very shadey and unfair the least he could have done is told me to check back with him at the end of october im the one setting here with the money to spend thats inside my, wallet im also the one that has been setting here waiting on these things for the last 23 months longer then any of these other people who either are memebers on here or anywhere else which i guess forces me to go off an buy somthin i really do not want vs this.
 
to Jluman actully, it really is the opposite" way around he has wasted my time!! an Flaked on me who is the paying customer as i said in some of my post in the past. i have delt with the Likes of zoological imports2000 an i also have delt with naturecoast exotics an exoticjungle.net i never ever 1 single time Ever!! had a single problem out of those guys why this guy and that other Guy Jay from turtles an tortises inc, another seller who came along an filled me full of lies for close to a 1 yr oh wait i got those nile crocodiles there at a reptile exhibit they will be ready to sell to youo in 1 week an he then dissapeard all together communication was cut off an so were emails another delusional seller these sellers need to be on medication because it is wrong to do this to paying customers such as me who have the money to buy there animals.

to korbin5895 no i am actully gonna let that part slide as far as me saying i am gonna buy somthin i really do not want cause that would be a waste of time an money i would rather try to buy somthin that is realisticlly obtainable that i do want very much such as a smooth front caiman a 2 to 3FT Male Trig i do not care anymore about this bob clark situation im gonna move on past it an just forget about it it is not the end of the world an i never sent him money he Flaked an i am gonna leave it at that i have not a whole lot else to say at this point it is pointless.
