My very good friend, Deborah Stewart of Stewart Reptiles contacted me last year with a proposal that I send my het hypo female to her for the 2010/2011 season to breed with her POG.
Having admired her POG many times when I'd go visit her, I humbly accepted her offer. If you knew Deborah, you'd know that she would give those she counts among her friends, the shirt off of her back. And this was just one of countless kindesses I've witnessed, both as a recipient of her kindness and as an observer of kindnesses she's done for others.
In any case, we proved my het hypo girl, who I had some doubts about, though she was sold to me as 100% het hypo. It also makes me feel a little more hopeful for my het clown female proving, who came from the same source (if she'll quit holding onto her eggs - at this rate, she's going to give live birth! LOL).
Anyway, onto the POG clutch pictures. The other great thing about these guys being at Deborah's is that she's an AWESOME photographer, so I'm getting awesome pictures of my babies as well! And yes, as part of this arrangement, she's gifted me with the entire clutch.
Hopefully a joint project we're working on for next year will yield results we are both hoping for to return the favor.
First up, a het hypo:
and SHE was the first out of the egg:
One other het hypo, but I don't have pictures of it, because I got a few duplicate pictures.
Two pastel het hypos:
And the shining star - a POG!
