    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Actually for the record, Andrew contacted me looking specifically for a Male HET FOR SNOW.. Not a normal one, to go with his 3 female Hets...so ??
 
I assure you, in criminal accusations, you can visit a magistrate. For example if you had a relative that was suicidal at 2:00am ( go see a magistrate), or if you had a boyfriend coming after you, or if you have a claim, you can go before a magistrate judges.

In my case there was no extengent circumstances and no reason why I would need to see one after hours.

In Georgia, when an accusation was made against somebody, and somebody called to file a police report from out of state. - I would take that report for the plaintiff and then direct them to go before a magistrate.
 
However in civil, I think it would be considered biased if one party saw the judge, without the other party.

Pretty much have to go to the Court Clerk during regular business hours or e-file and then wait for it to be reviewed.

As for the suicide issue

again has to be filed during regular hours... this can occur while the person is being temporarily held on the orders of a psychatrist but again paperwork has to go into the system during the normal working hours.

Nothing in the regulations, court documents, FAQs for Clark County judicial process supports you claim that any person has access to the magistrate judges 24/7...

Thank you for clearing this up, I will scratch this off the lie list. This comment is very promising. I certainly wish they are hets.

I wonder why he won't clear the air on that matter.

Would you mind trying to verify why he was looking for het snow? Was he wanting to make hets and breed them back? Or are you saying you believe they may be hets?

Why not just give me the history and be done?

He said in his post that you quoted in post 228 that Andrew was looking for a male het to go with his female hets, suggesting the females in question are indeed het, at least to the best of Andrew's knowledge. What history are you looking for (and expecting to be available suddenly), that you wouldn't have asked for prior to purchase?

I'm not saying they are, or aren't. I'm also not saying you don't deserve compensation for the size variance or potentially lacking genetics (provided you can prove they are indeed not). I don't know Andrew, and I don't know anything about turtles. All I know is I've seen you claim to know things 100% over and over again and then you get upset that people want verification. I really think you need to stop being offended that people on this board are questioning your "facts", and understand that if you questioned Andrew as much as you are being questioned you may not be in this situation right now. It's not an insult to be distrustful on the internet, it's just plain smart.

Again, good luck, I hope the truth (regardless of what it is) comes out and justice is served, but for the love of *insert whatever deity you like* stop blaming people for asking the questions that I think most followers of this post are wondering themselves.

Since I just read later in the thread that this was done via a phone conversation, do you recall more or less when this conversation transpired so that it can be included in the "timeline"? This is a very interesting turn of events.

Well it depends on how many calls he makes, whether it was done with his current phone, when the call was made, etc. That said when it comes to phone conversations no one but those that take part in it know what is said. The fact that someone is saying that Popp wanted a het snow male for his het females is an interesting turn of events.

It's not exactly new. Here's where he originally mentioned it, on the 19th:

I am not questioning his credibility at all. All I am saying is that if Andrew was looking for an Albino het snow male that the timing of his inquiry could be of interest. If it was just prior to the sale to Chris it could mean a number of things. If it was prior to listing the animals in summer it could mean something else. I just find it interesting to piece everything together.

yes like i said earlier he called 1 or 2 days before he placed the ad.
