One of my new born Candoia bibroni bibroni (Fiji boa) babies has a folded vent scale. He's so tiny that it's really hard to see - I didn't spot it with the naked eye, only when I was blowing up pics from trying to sex them.
Has anyone seen this before? Is it likely to sort itself out in time, or with a shed or two? If not is it likely to affect him in future?
He's one of a batch of 13 born 6 weeks ago, all others look normal and there's nothing else apparent wrong with him.
Any opinions really welcome, thanks.
Pics show his belly, a close up of the folded vent scale, and a normal vent scale from one of his siblings.
