    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

I like I like, too bad he's not a she, love that pattern.
It wouldn't surprise me if that proves genetic.

I think I'm actually more happy he turned out to be male. Ill admit when I sexed him I was bummed a little bit. But in the long run it benefits me more to be a male.

He's neat! Good luck with the project.

Thanks!! I couldn't pass him up.

looks het redish. the original pics you posted made it look like a sable. very nice pick up anyway.

Haha that's what I was thinking sableish and het redish. But only one way to find out!

sableish i like the look

Thanks!

Looks like a very nice dinker project for sure!

I know right!

I like him. Great pick up Kelly!!

So do I! Thanks! If he turns out to be nothing he will be a kewl pet.

Only one way to tell.... Nice pickup tho.

Thanks! Now just to figure out what to pair him to after some QT time.

Normals is a given.

But I also got a granite female from the same guy a while back. I wanted to see if she was genetic so I was gonna put a yb and a fire to her, possibly my butter or black pastel as well. Now if I breed this boy to her I can't put any of those males to her, only him. I wouldn't know if it was her graniting or his that was genetic unless there was a super of some kind. So help me out there... Lol.

I was thinking maybe a mojave since I have two mojave girls but I had plans for em already so I've been turning things around in my head trying to figure out what to do. I also have a few other morph girls I could use to but again I already had plans for em.

Choices... choices

Yea I know! That's one of the reasons I wanted him. I'm a huge black back fan. Be sweet if he proved genetic for the graniting and black back.

I think I ruled out pairing him to the granite female I have. I wanna see if she genetic so I think ill do the yb and lemonback to her. Possibly my black back butter or black back mojave as well.

So now I only have to decide if I wanna pair him to any morphs this year or just wait and see what pops out with the normals.

All my pastels have been paired up with boys already. I do have one mojave female I was thinking about doing BELs with since my other one is gonna be making me some black magics. Maybe ill back that pairing up with my butter male to get BELs and actually let this guy go with my mojo female that plans weren't fully defined for yet.

Hmm lots of thinking ahead of me. She's sitting at 1200g, I'd like to see her gain another 150 before I breed her. Plus he is still in QT. Eating like a hog too. Lol

granite black back

looks like my granite black back i bet you hes one of these.

He very well could be. Only breeding will tell though. :)

Its one reason why I'm not sure if I wanna pair him to a morph or not.
