    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

Congratulations Alicia Holmes and Rick Carrew!!

You are now the new owners of these cute little bouncing baby Sabogaes!!

Alicia has shown te patients of a saint because she payed for a baby and mom didn't take last year. Rick has been one of our biggest supporter's and has sent us a few nice snakies, it's really nice to have 2 more deals squashed with one big one sitll to go.

Mom has turned into snakezilla and she only had 2 live and 3 slugs.
Bryon is happy that he has another dwarf species under his belt and I am happy that another project that I bought before we got together has come to fruition!

So congrats on the new children and enjoy my cruddy picture taking abilities LMAO. (better pix to come when Bry uses the camera.

I'm fine with only 2. Woulda been way happy with 4 - 5 but 2 is just fine. Alicia and Rick get their babies and mom is still good to go for next year if we want to breed her again.

Wow thank you, coming from you the man who produced the first bloody ghosts means a lot!

Now maybe we can work out a boa exchange program for next year? Or exchange blood lines with our bloods?

Unless someone did it before late June of 2008, that would be me, but until it breeds and produces offspring that demonstrate the hypo gene is present without a doubt, I won't go bragging about it too much!! LOL The proof is in the pudding so to speak! Plus, there is another Skywalker, from where some of your hets came from, produced possibly 3 in one litter, a few weeks ago I believe, totally amazing litter. I think I would rather have been second and produced 3 than have been first and produced one, but if I am first, than so be it!! I'll take it.

I am liking the pearl islands, maybe we can work something for next year. I am in the process of refocusing my collection so we will have to see how things pan out;)

Pffft. whatever... (just for Brandi) :D

You called me yesterday while I was out in the field working, the phone rings, I see "Bryon and Laura" pop up on the screen, and I said one word. SABOGAE! The guy I was working with says, "huh? Is that bad?" He thought is was some GPS terminology where everything went wrong. :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Those both look great! I am so stoked for you guys. Sorry that you only got two of them though. But hey, look at them. They're gorgeous. Both of them. You done a good job. :thumbsup:

I'm so excited I can hardly type! Now lets just hope the Boa gods are really with you, and it's 1.1 :yesnod: I really want a female to start with, but I'd be happy with either one of those beauties regardless of sex.

I can hardly wait. Thanks for the post!

Yep, the triple threat het's are from Dayle Speckin. Nothing about his animals screams average! I have 4 of his boa's in my collection right now. Plus all of the new off spring! YAY!
And next year? Sure... we can work out something. Bryon and I are getting to the point that we are almost ready to close off the collection. We only have a few more critters to add and then we are done.

^_^ Id do it again and again :D you guys are THE BEST!

No rush over here :) i want to make sure you guys get to enjoy them too!!! :thumbsup:

No need to be sorry its just 2. We were told by John & Rich at SalmonBoa.com that the first litters average 3 - 6 so getting 5 somethings wasn't too bad for a first litter. Wasn't too bad at all since the 2 folks on the top of the list finally get theirs WOO HOO!!! I'm just happy I got them to breed and produce successfully.

ooooh, I can't wait to see the post shed photos..

I don't even know how to pronounce sabogae, but I have been hearing Alicia talk about it for .. well.. as long as I can remember..

lol, so I am pretty psyched for this also.. which is lame..

COME ON POST SHED PICS!!!
