    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

Clutch #4 was right on time. Got dates mixed up in my head about a week ago and thought that she was overdue. Checked on true dates and realized that she ovulated on 4/15 and then shed on 4/29 so she did good!

Got 5 plump, healthy eggs, but she's acting like she could have 1 more. She was coiled on these 5 so I assumed she was done, but when I put her in a bath I noticed she wasn't quite as skinny as I'm used to seeing my girls, immediately after laying a clutch. If she lays a 6th, I will happily update this thread! If she does not lay anymore, I'll check her out thoroughly, to be sure she's not bound. (I don't think that's so common, after laying several...is it??)

Can't wait to update with pipping pics and more!! :D

Thanks, Kyle!! I was excited about getting this POG, mainly to breed to this very bright het ghost. Kind of hoping to prove her out as something more than just a normal het ghost, but I'll settle for really pretty POG babies!

he's been a busy boy! Congrats!

Thanks, Chad!! He actually only got 2 females. This girl, and a gorgeous visual ghost that I produced a couple of years ago. Hoping to make some nice female POG holdbacks!!

Congrats Matt very nice, your going to have a bunch of ghost stuff... When is your pastave ghost clutch due to hatch..? If I remember correctly it should be close..

Thanks, Patrick!! This will definitely be my best "ghost year" yet...but hopefully 2nd to NEXT season!! ;) lol

Hypo Mojo x Pastel het Hypo was laid 5/1 so they should be into the second half of their incubation.

Good luck Matt! Lookin' good!

Thanks, Tom!!

Congrats Matt.

Thanks, Nick!!

And, I checked on Momma earlier, to make sure that she was not hanging onto another egg. Didn't find anything, but she didn't let me check more than about 10 seconds before she started biting me. As long as she makes pretty babies, she can bite me again and again! :dgrin:

Well what did you expect! She doesn't have hands to slap you with! :rofl:

Congratulations Matt I am still waiting for Clutch #4 any day now, BTW if you decide to let go of that awesome little MOJO female drop me a PM.

So far I'm not jumping for joy over my odds with this clutch. This one is a girl, and my only normal het ghost in the clutch. At least she's not butt ugly. :D

Not a bad little girl there
Nice close ups Matt. Need you to start takin my pics!

LOL...thanks, Gary, but I think you're doing better without me! I'm definitely no photographer. I did finally get a better camera so that's helping.

Now...if you want to send me some of those beauties that you've been producing...ya know, to take pics of :rolleyes: ...I'll practice some more! :thumbsup:

Then I better get to producin some more! LOL
just dropped a few picturs up here

The ones that you produced are plenty for me. :)

So wait... What's up with the rest of the clutch?!?

LOL--Guess I forgot to mention that she was the first one out. Second to come out is a male ghost, but it just got dark outside. Without flash my indoor pics are so bad you can't tell he's a ghost (and he's actually a pretty specimen), and with flash on pre-shed babies, there's way to much glare. Rest should be out by morning and I'll overload you with some pics then. ;)

Here's the ghost that came out last night. It's a boy.

First pic was taken last night, in my snake room with no flash. The rest were taken outside this morning in indirect light (sun has just begun to rise).

And last, but not least, this little girl had to make a fashionably late entrance into the world. Not sure what to think of her, but looking forward to seeing her post-shed.
