    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    BweeBwee! :D

    Nothin wrong with holdin em all back. Just gives you more options to take your breeding plans. And its not like theyre all that expensive to feed :p

    Either works really! What ever is easier for you. If you can make is Sat, thatd be awesome :D if not, then then meeting sunday is perfect too :D and there BETTER then VIPs... its FREE :D

    Me too! You have my # and you know how to find me on here :p
    BWEEBWEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

    thatd be awesome! were going both days. (might be going down for 3, and hang out in Chulla vista where my dad lived for years, on friday) i hope to see you there! but psst.... you should vend *nods* ;X

    good idea. hold em for like... 3-6 months and see how they look after they start to get their adult colours. but i still think #3 is the best lookin one in there. the blushing and colours are just amazing.
    If you have the store local you can just buy the packs of 10 :) I bought one pack myself but plan to get more next time I'm out. If you have to order though, IDK!

    Thanks for the comments on the little chondro ;) How is Juliet doing??
    Awesome, good luck girlie :) and don't worry about the bumples - my first clutch was very bumpy and I had a 100% success rate with beautiful large babies :)

    I thought I'd share this as well - I remembered you have those RBI racks with the tiny tubs. These little containers are PERFECT for water dishes!!

    I got the square ones and they fit in there perfectly, and are harder to tip than other bowls I've used. Just a thought :) 10 for $1 is a steal!

    oh, and did you see my new baby? A little GTP :)
    I have only one clutch so far and that is Sunshine x Torch (bright pastel x fire). I have about 5 others that keep looking 'there' but obviously aren't! lol I have about 28 possibles more but we know how that goes. If i get 12 clutches this year that would be about right....and less will be fine as well...just happy to still be in the game.

    So far my clutch is doing okay, I get a lil worried the eggs are more bumpy in surface than I'm used to so of course one thing different and anxiety attack!

    If i ever get into rhacodactylus I will have the perfect inkys-- i still want to but am trying to keep my variety a bit lower than it was!

    10 days? Can't wait to see!!!!!!!!!!!! yay!
    Definitely a good choice for the cooling effect. That's why I think it's perfect for rhacodactylus, since they incubate at lower temps. You can find them in a bunch of other places but of course they are a little more expensive. I saw a black model for sale as a reptile incubator somewhere and it looked awesome!

    How is your season going? I've only had one ovulation thus far. I have a clutch from a WC YB too, unfortunately I lost 1 of the 8 eggs though. Cut it open today (day 45) and there was a sad little dead baby. I don't know what happened, I noticed the veins started thinning about a week ago but hoped for the best. The yolk was one big solid mass, gross. The remaining 7 are all doing well though, so hopefully I see some happy little faces poking out in about 10 days!
    huh, looks like they don't carry it anymore :( Bummer! You might have luck looking on ebay or amazon or something. I will look later when I've got a bit more time. What were you wanting to use it for? Too small for snake eggs, but it's good for lizard stuff.
    well thats great to hear on the j.o.b.,me and michelle are well.good to hear missy grumpy is a cutie pie...it simply amazes me how everythings that go from my house to another turns from I AM GONNA TO EAT YOUR FACE demon child to look at me im cute!!!lmao.as far as anything else for sale i have a dblle het albino/clown male and a pair of proven morph retics.other than that,thats it.
    sorry for the late reply! been doing allll sorts of stuff! >_< i cant remember if he has live or not, but im still lookin for that card. i know i have it somewhere! (just hope it didnt get boxed up)
    yeah I'd like that... are they live? And maybe we could go in on an order if you guys don't need 100 at the time.
    he also has mediums and larges :p ill send you his #(when i can find it) so you can talk with him if ya want. :)
    not bad for private breeders standards. these latest bast i got were like $1.50 for jumbos in bulk
    i dont think it cost less, most live feeders are 3 times more expensive from what ive found. how much are your large rats?
