Question about this item from (buyer): Collins
Post on: Mon Oct 11, 08:03 PM
"I need to find out if this item is still up for sale and in a good working condition. I am considering chosing the buy it now option but I need to find out if you'll accept cheque as payment.
I am supplier with a wide range of customers and years experience. I have a request for this item and I need you to understand and accept certain things before we proceed.
Since I am buying the item for my client, I am entitled to a commission which would be paid up from what the client pays. I have arranged with the shipping company that would pick the item from your location for export to Benin, West Africa. Thus, I would need you to send me both my commission and shipping cost via western union money transfer after recieving the cheque payment which would be issued to cover all cost for the item to get to the supply point. Please respond as soon as possible with your questions or concerns so we could wrap up this transaction."
So basically it works like this...you send him a check for his "commission and shipping" and he falls off the face of the earth. Pretty simple scam...its a shame people still fall for it.
I tried to do a search for other times he's popped up, but nothing showed up. Just a heads up.
