    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

**Correct: I vend all Hamburg Reptile Expo events, and Pickups from there save $25 on transport!! We already have six (6) we are picking up, so, add onto them!!**

***NOTA BENE!! We have created a new price matrix for multiple Shipments going to one (1) Customer (Recipient), here it is in simplest form (even simpler than in the previous ad):

One (1) Pickup = $125
Two (2) Pickups = $225
A third or more Pickups will be $75/ea. on top of the $225.

Further NOTA BENE: This is when ALL Stops, id est all Pickups + Delivery, are within Standard Territory, id est: All of PA down the east coast to Tampa, across the Gulf down to San Antonio, over to Abilene and straight up through the eastern halves/portions of OK/KS/NE, lower portion of MN, lower halves of WI and MI, all of MO/IA/IL/IN/OH, and everything within.

Id est, exempli gratia; if just one (1) Stop, whether Pickup or Delivery, is in El Paso, this will incur a $50 surcharge; if in Odessa, a $25 surcharge. These examples are part of Extended Territory. Exceptionally large Shipments still incur their own surcharge (possibly on top of an Extended Territory surcharge), whether a single large animal (exempli gratia, an adult D. polylepis, O. hannah or Lachesis sp.), a large pair of animals (e.g., full-grown B. rhinoceros), or a gazillion animals.***

Greetings Everyone,

For those who were a part of any or all of the first 18 itineraries, or who at least followed the corresponding ads:

...Lois and I are returning to The Lone Star State on October 19th (actual arrival = 10/22). For those who are unaware of what all of this pertains to, please read my original ‘(VENOMOUS) ANIMAL DELIVERY SERVICE’ ad posted on September 4: http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2222383#post2222383, and read all of the positive feedback on the first of the aforementioned links (11/3). Nota Bene: This original ad needs some serious revamping, ha, but You will get the gist of it.

I will detail how the process works which is quite simple honestly, via a pre-typed description that I copy/paste to everyone, and/or over a phone call. In the meantime, please check out the previous ‘Texas-Bound’ ads for an idea of how these itineraries work, the smooth flow n’ logical order of Pickups and Deliveries that is, and infer what You can.

As of October 27, we have 38 Shipments/50 Stops lined up so far. See photos 2-4, and a Reply with three (3) photos, for Google Maps screenshots of the current itinerary, and the corresponding list here (id est, 'currently' because more Stops [Shipments] will likely be added which, logically, will alter the itinerary, but which all affected Sellers and Customers will be apprised of renewed ETAs ASAP):

Nota Bene: Google Maps Stop times show to be sooner, therefore the overall itinerary to be completed a lot sooner, based on nonstop driving; however, though we drive “nonstop”, being realistic based on the first 18 itineraries (my gregarious, loquacious and personable nature being most culpable for delays, haha), I have adjusted for later days/times in creating more accurate ETAs. As Stops (Shipments) are added, ETAs will likely be affected, but we will apprise all affected Sellers and Customers of updated ETAs ASAP.

Further Nota Bene: Deliveries from us will not show a Pickup, nor will Pickups for us show a Delivery. As well, we occasionally perform a Pickup(s) for the following itinerary. This is to explain any discrepancy in number of Pickups to number of Deliveries--and essentially/ultimately, to the number of Shipments I claim--if You're bored and actually keep track of this, haha, but the real intention is to depict everywhere we are stopping and traveling through in case You have something to add. Also, added Shipments do not necessarily mean added Stops if both Pickup and Delivery are locations we are already hitting up. Id est, added Shipments will not necessarily add time (save playing Tetris to fit everything as well as more animals to inspect in our daily inspections).

Please share these ads like wildfire! The more Shipments the merrier! And as far as payment options ($125 [minor surcharges for multiple Pickups, and for Pickups and/or Deliveries outside of Standard Territory - be looking for a new colour-coded ‘territory map’ soon]), it is preferable for the Customer (Recipient) to pay me directly, but a few Sellers have preferred to pay me instead, and that’s fine. Payment will be due upon securing the Shipment from the Seller, whether from the Customer (preferable) or the Seller. My payment option details are:

Zelle: [email protected]
Cash App: $Burzum9
Venmo: Burzum999
PayPal: PayPal.Me/Burzum999/125 (main site), or send to [email protected] (app, mobile site)
Square: Over the phone unless You trust credit card details or photos via email or text which I would immediately delete, but this is NOT recommended

I thank You in advance for Your (continuing) patronage, especially in the wake of Delta’s dreadful return on Veteran’s Day 2020! ...in which, word has it, they have failed several times already! (...no surprise...) I offer so many benefits to my service, including but not limited to: Daily inspections with videos of each animal sent as proof (Customers love this!); live arrival guarantee (ask for terms or details); no special crating nor IATA labels; hand-delivery to Your home, work or public place of Your choice; flexibility and versatility including able to change course last minute (e.g. from home to work); direct communication (and timely responses) with the carrier of Your precious gems; et cetera.

Give Obscure Gems Reptiles’ Animal Transport Service a shot, You will NOT be disappointed!!

Sincerely,

Timothy Gould

NOTA BENE: Between October 15-21, but not updated till this evening (10/26) due to technical difficulties, this itinerary severely changed - but for the Good!! We went from 28 Shipments/39 Stops down to 26/35, but then up to a whopping 37/46!! ...making this our second-largest itinerary to date, with the last one being our largest at 41/50, and coast-to-coast at that! We are ever-so-grateful for the continuing patronage of preexisting clientele and the trust n' patronage of new clientele. :)

And this itinerary isn't over with another potential three (3) Shipments/three (3) Stops to be added, which would make this itinerary the largest, so, there is still time to pour on the gravy!! ;)

Further NOTA BENE, though: We have promised my daughter trick-or-treating which we have always done in our nice, small, rural town, and that's on the 30th which is cutting it close to finish this itinerary in time. Id est; worst case scenario if need be, we may pause the itinerary for a day-or-so's worth and then immediately resume and finish thereafter - yes, back to driving that night, after we put my daughter down. (Trick-or-treating out-of-town, on the 31st perhaps, isn't out of the question, I just dislike change LOL.)
