    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am that full of myself actually my ego is so high I think its funny yalll think I cant do it safely lol, but in all honesty my whole life people have told me things if i listened to everyone I wouldnt be here, so no I dont listen very well ive been diagnosed with ADHD, OCD, and ADD so yes judge pleaseeeeeeee. but in all actually honesty here I get I dont have venomous exp* but I have done my homework... so no I wont give up.. EVER! lol

Yeah, I am that full of myself — and it’s hilarious that you think I can’t do this safely. Truth is, my entire life people have told me what I can’t do. If I listened to every voice trying to limit me, I wouldn’t even be here.

I’ve been diagnosed with ADHD, OCD, ODD and ADD — so yeah, judge away. I don’t listen well, and that’s exactly why I keep going.

I might not have hands-on venomous experience yet, but I’ve done the research, I’ve put in the hours, and I take this seriously.

So no, I’m not giving up. Not now, not ever.

Trying to save you from altering the course of your life or permanently ending it… you’re acting like a 10 year old child. Listen when people are trying to help you. Get rid of that bothrops, it doesn’t act like ANYTHING you’ve ever kept or worked with. I will bet money you know nothing about proper quarantine/parasite prevention. I mean shit you ordered the snake from underground…. Must not know the quality of animals they bring in/sell. Your in way over your head. Give it up. I’ll also bet money all of us are gonna see “LG Bothrops” in a month or so. Wish you the best of luck, but fuck man.

I hear your concerns, but the way you’re coming at me isn’t helping anything. I’m not some kid playing with fire—I’ve done my research, I know the risks, and I’m fully aware that Bothrops aren’t like colubrids or pythons. This isn’t a pet I picked up on a whim.

Yes, I ordered from Underground, and yes, I understand the reputation. That’s exactly why I’ve taken steps most don’t—proper enclosure, quarantine protocols and observation I’m not saying I know everything, but I’m not going into this blind either.

Telling someone to “give it up” and mocking them doesn’t build safety in this community—it builds resentment. If the goal is education, it has to come with respect. I appreciate real advice, but not when it’s laced with judgment and assumptions.

I’m here to learn and do things right—not to be told I’m doomed. If you have experience to share, do it constructively. Otherwise, don’t expect me or anyone else to take you seriously.

I like both species for sure, but right now I’m broke so no chance at adding an adamanteus or piscivorus lol I do appreciate the offer actually if your being serious, but when I do have a cage ready and setup and my wallet will let me Im really looking for baby, eastern or baby gaboon either or!

You’re the one that punches their own arm and hits trees for “conditioning”… you said you didn’t pick the Bothrops on a whim but literally stated yourself that you got it because it looks cool.
