    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

IM GUESSING PREGO

If she's a het albino that was bred to an albino, bump up your hot spot by about 10 degrees. Although, judging by the pic, she might be too far along for the added heat to help...but I don't think it would hurt. Good luck with her!

I have been in this temperature situation before with a gravid female. I bumped the temp 1 degree every day untill it reached 92. You know if she is staying on the hot side all the time that is good. But 97 is a little high to change the temp too.

When my het was gravid by my albino I kept her hot spot on 92.8 and she went in and out of basking every other hour like clock work.
Just my exp not saying its the only route to go

92-93 is what my gravid females are kept at. I have tried the 97 thing, they stayed on the cool side which I didn't like. I like to see em go back and forth like you stated Josh, or at least spend the majority of there time on that spot.

I had this one female, she stayed on her cool side all the time. I had her hot spot (under belly heat) set at 95. She was my first female to produce for me. I adjusted her temp down 1 degree over the course of a week, once it hit 92, she stayed there 75% of the time. She would move back and forth, but she liked that warmer side. I had lowered it to the point of 90 degrees on hot side, at that point, she never moved from that spot. So that told me right there 92 was the temp to go by. Ever since, 92 has been my hot side temp with females.

ok ill bump temp up alil if u dnt mind me askin whats the diff if shesa het or not or a albino breed her or not

Its harder for albino to retain heat. I have found out my albino females do better with belly heat then rather then radiant heat. Just me though and I prefer belly heat for them.

ok what the heck here is her pic as of today what is going on?? look at her size now almost back to normal

It may have been just a large ovulation. She is much skinnier now. Also, when females are about to drop they shrink pretty quick. This happens when the babies start absorbing all of the left over yolk I believe.

He didn't breed it he bought a gravid female. Although I do agree with you should be more prepared before buying a possibly gravid female.

yeah, but he has PM'ed me about breeding stuff, and wanted to buy a male to breed.... you shoul be very ready before even considering breeding....

she was nvr sold as poss gravid nvr knew she was with that male untill she started to swell n so on thats when i called the previous owner n he exsplained she was with that male

even still you were buying animals with intent to breed.... i feel like people who are new to breeding should buy babies.... raise them up.... then consider breeding..... keeper before breeder.... and while they are raising up, read as much info, take notes and figure out which way will fit best for you............ thats how i started...... and a whole lot of other people......

ive had snakes since i was 5 yrs old and im now pushing 30 ranged from ball pythons to a 15 ft burmease python ive had boas and jcp i even worked with a few venimous just new to the breeding boas is why im askin questions like everyone else u learn from exsperiance n asking questions

man, you were talking about doing breeder loans and stuff?

just because you owned and worked with stuff doesnt really mean you know what your doing... i have seen plenty of people own hots... but they dont own responsibly...just because you owned in worked with something doesnt mean it was properly kept and owned.......
