Hi everyone!! I've been a member for a while, and an occasional poster for a while, but I've never really settled into Fauna for more than my purchasing needs. That said, after all of the stuff going on, I've developed friendships, and a greater respect for the members of this site. So, I'm de-lurking, and I think I'll settle into this forum for a bit
I've recently abandoned my regular site due to some serious drama, so, I'm looking forward to getting to post here, and show off my new litters, etc.
I am 28 years old, and live just outside of Seattle, Washington (the city of Seattle has an 8 foot rule). I own primarily boas and ball pythons, with some carpet pythons, blood pythons, cornsnakes, burms, retics, corns and an african rock python. I've been fortunate enough to be able to obtain some seriously beautiful snakes, and the ability to house them all in comfort. Some people think I'm crazy with the number of snakes I have, but I can tell you, these snakes are my life. I've been disabled due to a car accident in 2006. I have all day, everyday, to devote to these wonderful animals. I also have a few rescue animals, and feel the need to take care of the abused and neglected animals as well.
I graduated from Seattle University back in 2008, after working in the veterinary field for several years to gear myself towards a degree I would actually use. I graduated with a degree in Biology and Chemistry - whoo!!! Genetics are the reason that I have so much fun with snakes. I LOVE genetics... I love figuring out the "odds" and pairing different snakes together to see what I can get.
So, in a nutshell, that's me!! Thank you all for making me feel welcome, when you didn't know me from Joe Blow!!!
