Okay the kids brought home a couple of wild skinks.I put them in a 20 gallon and they mated..I found eggs today when I went in to seperate the male out because I hadnt seen the female and was worried he wasnt letting her come out to bask or eat. I didnt touch the eggs but put the rock carefully back down...She has them under the rock pile below the basking light...How moist should I keep it? I didnt count the eggs as she wasnt to happy with me looking at her or the eggs but Im guessing near 8 or 9(these eggs are huge for this little female to have had all of them, poor thing).Any suggestions?
Basking rock is a piece of slate it is 90 degrees steady during the day but the light goes off at night and I dontknow what night time temps are.She also has a reptisun uvb flourescent bulb but it doesnt really put out heat..
