    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

This guy has been posted ads: "Well tamed Collection of Ball Pythons" The name may also be fake.

The deal is a scam from his emails, below is a sample of his actual response to a inquiry. He also attached many images, about 1/2 of which are taken directly off my site and are of animals that I currently own.

His reply to inquiry, inquirer name is omitted.

"thanks for interest in our Ball pythons we got for adoption.We do have Albino, Pie-bald, Pastel and Spider pythons available for adoption to any home that is willing to provide the best for them.They are hand raised, have been fully checked, captive breed and also tested .They come along with all Vet papers including a Health Guarantee which proves that they are in good Health.Their weights range from 400g and 430g and each is a little over 2.7ft. long.My Snakes do great in smaller cage considering their size. I do feed young ones every 7 to 10 days and my likely to be adults snakes every 11 to 14 days. This is a small sketch on how i do feed them;

Young Pythons : 1 Pre-killed Fuzzy Mice every 7 days
Almost adult pythons: 1 Meduim Pre-killed Fuzzy Rat every 10-14 days

As they grow, the size of their prey can increase too.My snakes are being housed in a 40 gallon sized terrarium.In addition, i have tried to create hiding areas, climbing branches, and a water dish large enough for my snakes to soak in. I do have a good quality substrate which always keep the snakes happy so I'll advice you try and get things ready so they can get used to their new environment .Heating your cage can be accomplished via heat lamps (protected from the snake), under-tank heaters, ceramic heat emitters, or a combination of those. My Snakes are very easy to handle and come with all accessories.

I decided to let them go because i recently got a Job and due to it's Hectic nature i really do not have the time i used to have to look after them properly. You know snakes require a lot of attention that is why i am looking for an experience home for them. Right now, i do have 15 snakes in all (4 pie-balds, 6 Albinos, 3 Pastel and 2 Spider Royal pythons) and i am willing to let my pie-bald pythons go for an affordable adoption fee of $400 each and rest i will take $250 each. I have attached some pictures so you can take a good look at them and i wish to inform you that these pictures are recent ones. Where precisely are you located? Which of my snakes are you interested in? what particular sex?. It will cost an additional $75 to have a Box of snakes heat packaged and shipped overnight to you. Best regards"

Hope this helps people avoid being scammed.

might want to post some proof and such ,otherwise the overzealous might get antsy.

Sounds like a Camaroon scam and Justin is a well respected person in this community and he posted the email so thats about all the proof he has. Thank you Justin and I am sorry someone stole your photos.

Tim

1 pre-killed fuzzy rat every 10-14 days for a near adult python. must've taken 60 years. and a health guarantee...? helluva deal! :D sorry about your pictures getting stolen. some people are so ignorant and desperate

ughhh

I have gotten this of the real location of the seller after finding his ad on muamat.com to which i inquired about a couple balls. I'm thinking this guy is drop shipping from what is said in his email to me.

I ran the headers on a email tracer and got this IP which is in fact, Cameroon

I do have Albino, Pie-bald, Spider, Pastel and Het Pie-bald pythons available here and i am willing to let my Pie-bald go for an affordable price of $300 each and the rest of my entire collection for $200 each. If interested kindly get back to me so i can provide vivid description on how i do take care of them as well as pictures of the specific morph you are interested in. I decided letting my entire collection go due to the hectic nature of my Job which doesn't really permit me to keep them. I am currently located in Orlando,Fl and willing to provide you with my full address in case you are willing to schedule a day to come and take a look at them. In case you won't be able to schedule a day to come and see them i am willing to setup a shipping profile them to be heat packaged and shipped safely overnight to you. Get back to me at your earliest convenience. Kind regards
