    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I received 3 dragons last week which one free total surprise. They arrived in perfect health. Just simply amazing. My cousin told me about Heidi and I took her word for it. You have a new customer. THANK YOU!!!!!!!
 
I dont know where to start when you speak of Heidi and or Garry. They are like family to me. We started bye trading, that led to a very positive relationship. There customer service is second to none. Thank you both for being there as friends/family many years to come of this incredible bond. Gary and Heidi love every reptile they own. And are very caring people.
In my book this is what makes a GOOD GUY. Gary had been more than a close friend many times, and Heidi a confidant. Thank you both again and keep up the incredible work, and those incredible dragons.

I can't wait to buy more from her. My cousin does all the work. Heidi e-mails her and i give her the money. I wish Heidi was local i would be over every weekend to buy something. I'm very happy with my dragons. Heidi you have a new customer and i plenty of money. Thanks again.
 
They were great to me. They have me as a customer for life. This thread is about my business with them not the Lot Lizard Lady's business with them. So thank you CALIENTE DRAGONS you are awesome.
 
You will find more people happy with Caliente, than you will find not happy with them. That being said, its my turn, I purchased a baby beardie in July from Heidi. It died about 2 weeks in. She was fine when she got here and for 5 or 6 days after, but she went down hill real quick. I called Heidi to tell her what was going on as it happened, and kept in contact the whole time. She was wonderful, gave me advice on things to try and really did try to help. She died anyway. Heidi made me feel better, just by reminding me that these things happen and that I did do everything I could. She also replaced my baby, with a neon red (which was about $140 more than what I paid) and threw in 2 free hypoXhetleatherbacks. You can not get much better than Heidi. I will always buy from her. Thank you Heidi & Gary for being great at what you do. I can't thank you enough for my babies. They are doing great :D
 
This is a good guy thread!!! As i said i have done at least 15 plus transactions with Gary and Heidi and every one was as good if not better than the last. Caliente dragons is just getting stronger bye the day !!!

Heidi and Garry sent me 3 SCREAMING REDS and a INCREDIBLE Leather back and 7 leopard geckos Garry hatched for my B-Day.

Friends forever and a day !!!!

The above is an example of a rash customer that was made more than happy as i said before customer service next to none.

I have purchased from Heidi before.

We have purchased dragons and feeders. Heidi has always been very nice, very helpful, and above all else she has great dragons. I would and have recommended Caliente Dragons to others who are looking, and will/would go to her again if she has something I am in the market for.

I too saw a reference to customer satisfaction on their website when I was looking at it. Unfortunately that doesn't apply to everyone. They still haven't sent me a refund. And Jeane and I are not going to apologize for Wendy's remarks to Gary, as he asked, in order to get said refund. I don't consider caliente dragons as awesome.
 
We've bought cages from Heidi and Gary. They're very easy to deal with and provided useful information to us in our early stages as breeders.
