    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

I would like to thank the whole crew over there at Ap but the only one I dealt with over and over was Ali.All I have to say is awesome.
I have been e-mailing and calling for awhile and when ever it came time to dump the cash something always came up.
Yet everytime that I came back a month or so later Ali treated me like I was the only customer on the planet.
When I finally ordered my 2 T10s Ali was quick to help and answer all questions.

Well today I got the cages, the big Fed-Ex 18 wheeler right to my driveway we went through every piece before signing and everything was good.I got them inside and started putting them together.They went together quick and easy just like they said they would.

I will be ordering more next month these cage look great and seem very sturdy.

Thanks Animal Plastics you have made yourself a permanent customer.

I received my AP order on Weds and couldn't be happier. I just e-mailed Ali this afternoon to setup a new order for 2 more racks. :)

Ali Rocks!!!
The AP racks are pretty darned good, too :D

I am just digging these cages I can't wait for the sealant to dry so I can put some snakes in them. They stack great and they don't have that impossible to clean lip of the other cages I have.We plan on phasing out the other cages and ending up with all Ap caging.

What has been the wait times you guys have seen lately???From order day to delivery?? ALI is GREAT =)

We utilize several of the AP systems, from racks to several cages and we love everyone of them. Ali is a joy to talk to, and she does a great job! It's no wonder Mark has kept her as long as he has! ;)

The last time I spoke with Mark about getting some Flex Watt from him for my terrestrial cages, he said they were running about 6 weeks out at the time. I think that is about standard for them.

That's called a company with a fantastic product! It's the guys that have a ton of cages sitting around their warehouse I would be leery about ordering from.

As far as your sealant goes, I wouldn't even bother, as it comes out after the first couple cleanings. It has come out of every cage I've put it in.

Approx 6 weeks order to delivery, with shipping at around 5 weeks post order.

I agee with everyone here. Their products are hard to beat. Those times are about what I had. I wish it was bit faster. I guess I just need to plan farther ahead. Reptile Basics I have also used. No regrets there either. People shouldn't have a problem finding good service or racks/cages from either.

I have spent ALOT of money with Animal Plastics also and I will be going back to them for more enclosures. Ali is awesome and they were always so willing to work with me and get everything I wanted. The only bad part was the wait time but if you want good quality enclosures, it is worth the wait.

I am waiting on my new cage from them and Ali has ALWAYS been quick to answer replies and covers everything very well. Great contact and It looks like I will be ordering from them again in the future

I am an animal plastics fan myself. All of my plastic caging is from AP including my rack system. Highly recommended.

I will second that. Ali is great. Myself as well as several other herpers suggested that AP design and produce a rack that handles VE175 tubs (great size for bloods and small boas). After very few delays, considering the amount of work it takes to properly design a rack this large, they built them and did a great job. Designing and building a shoebox rack is simple, but designing a rack that holds tubs that could weigh in excess of 75 pound each when in use is not an easy task. A+

I was inquiring about getting a cage for my boa and I dealt with Ali, too.
She was great, and very personable.
I am definitely buying a cage from them now. That kind of customer service sealed the deal!

Pretty Class Act IMO as well,the Products and Customer Service speaks volumes against the others who choose to be "INNOVATIVE" and shovel the BS at a steady rate.
The Sealent is worthless, CAN ANYTHING STICK TO THESE CAGES ? :rofl:
