    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.
  • Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I'm done with the lady at Petco saying you don't need to monitor a ball python's humidity or heat, as long as they "feel warm", they're fine.
I hate when people attempt to force Jesus down my throat.
I CAN'T STAND people who think religion belongs in PUBLIC schools, and preach at every opportunity they get why it belongs there.
I despise the westboro baptist church so much that when they came here to protest, I didn't go because I knew I would get far too angry.
I don't like people who get angry about jokes.
I'm sick of Nergal my ball python not peeing in his tank, but taking a pee all over ME the second I pick him up to cuddle him.
I'm sick of my dad having to go to a job he hates every day.
I'm tired of not having room in my fish tank to add more fish.
I hate feeling like a failure because I dropped out of school.
I REALLY HATE kids who constantly type in text-talk abbreviations. If it's not on your cell phone, please spell the word out...I don't want to rip out any more of my hairs.

I hate being surrounded by narrow minded people that form judgements but have never spoken to me.
I hate being "over qualified" for jobs. When bills are late, no one should be considered "over qualified."

I so agree with yours though. Over qualified...-.- It just means they're too stupid. You'd put them out of a job XD
I also hate when you're talking and someone keeps interrupting "Listen to me! You're not listening!"...so you listen, and then when it is clearly your turn to speak, they interrupt. :rofl:
When at a 4 way intersection (stop signs, no lights), you make a left. The person adjacent to you cannot wait 5 seconds for you to get your car out of their way, they instead swerve around you as you are turning to get a head start against the line up at the stop signs... -.-
When I don't answer the phone, so people assume that means "Please call me back 50 times in a row. Don't leave a voicemail. Don't text me. Just keep calling."
When volunteers call you to remind you to send in your ballot.
The door-to-door salesmen. They knock, I open and say "Sorry, not interested."
They're all surprised "You don't even know what it is!"...

I'm sick of people around me falling in and out of the same crappy relationships then coming to me for a shoulder to cry on. LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES!

I hate when I spend an entire day taking creative, staged photos of my animals, downloading them into the computer, crop them and edit them, upload them to PhotoBucket, create a well thought out post and... nobody says anything. Or if they do, its "You shouldn't have your gecko on sand. It'll kill him." when its obvious that he's not even in his cage.

(I had done pictures of 2 of my bp girls a few years back in a scene called "Atana's Garden" where they were placed in a garden scene with fake ivy, tipped over flower pots, gardening gloves and a trowel. Beautiful shots! According to the one and only poster that replied, I'm a moron.)

I hate when you ask about minor first aid for animals and get hit with "No one will reply to this as it takes an experienced vet to reach a diagnosis." Never asked for a diagnosis. I asked for any tips on removing small bit of retained shed on a leo.

I guess, when it comes down to it, I hate know-it-alls and pretentious jerks!
 
I'm tired of my lactose intolerance and the pressure it brings.
 
I'm tired of working for a company that does not care about its employees.
I'm tired of having to wake up every day to my dog's peeing on everything in the house.

I'm tired of having to deal with the fact that people always judge you by the way you look, way before getting to know you.
But the thing I am tired of more than anything is, being tired but not being able to fall asleep.

This one really hits home for me. My income has dropped drastically because of all the cheap imports. I used to be able to make money to feed my family on my art/crafts, but I can no longer do that.

right there with ya sister!! BTW, your pics sound like they were beautiful. I don't remember seeing them. I have to limit my time and cooperation on the forums, they get me too stressed out.
 
I hate these new type gasoline cans with the stupid spouts you have to hold with both hands and twist the bloody bugger a certain way to get the gas to pour, and wind up making a bigger mess than you ever could with the simple old style spouts.:angry:

I hate when church people come onto my property to try to get me to come to their church. If I tell them the truth (I am an atheist) they try to convince me God really does exist, but if I lie and say I am a Jew they go away.

I hate the Taliban. I hate the way they treat women and children, and I hate the way they cause mayhem and grief for the world.

There are other things I hate, such as ticks and mosquitoes but those are just part of the natural world and can be tolerated to some degree.
 
I hate that there are people that never worked for all the things they have.
I hate my neighbor dinging my car doors.
I hate the kid in the POS trying to race me when he knows he will lose anyhow. (and then gets pissed cause I ignore him)
I hate that there are people who everybody seems to love on the internet, but I know for a fact (and many others agree with me) they are wretched.
I hate that I am allergic to latex.
I hate that my boyfriend plays COD wayyyy too much.
I hate my sister has a shitty boyfriend that leaches off of her.
I hate that my Oscar fish is going into breeding mode and destroying everything in his path, including my other fish.
I hate terrible drivers.
I hate paying shipping for animals.
I hate when my cat doesn't cover his poop in the litter box.
I also hate when I burn my dinner!

There is probably more- I can think of many things I hate or am tired of. haha.
