    =====================

I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

  • No not yet but we will be going soon,we saw him today but more like looking for something for the car and other things.
Whats up Shine thanks for the new friend I see that you have about the same, talking about the crested geckos 4 do you know something about them I do not LOL.
I keep meaning to write this, but I have been busy once again dealing with other things. There is another show in Noblesville,Indiana on Dec. 6th, so whatever beardies you have left might go there. Ron Billingsley I think is the one starting it up, so you might want to contact him about a booth or something. He was very nice to me when I bought a bp baby from the pet store my husband works at and is now the manager of. It had a URI that he helped me with. Nice man, but a VERY perverted. Once you tell him that you are happily married you dont really have to much problems after that. Heard other stories about him, but like I said he just needs to know his place in that area when you contact him. Well I am outtie for now, so I will talk at you later.
    Shine,
Im sorry that I disappeared for awhile, but I have been really busy with GSD pups and getting everybody ready for winter. How are you guys doing? How did the baby selling go for you? I have two babies left to grow out and sell, but other then that Im good. I kept two females, one from each clutch and WOW you should see the little red female. I have to update photos on reptilegeeks soon because they are getting to be monsters. Well let me know how you guys are doing and if you guys still have babies, their is a reptile show in Noblesville, IN. on Nov. 1 in case you wanted to hit that. Well I will talk at you later, Andrea
Thanks Shine! Thats one of the red boys that Im trying to sell on reptilegeeks. He is incredible. I would love to keep him, but I am keeping the female. She just shed and her red is incredible and I also think she is going to have lavender sidebars. I am so excited about how she is looking so far. How about you guys and your grandkids? Have you picked out a favorite to keep? LOL Well I will talk to you later, Andrea
LOL She is the size of the girls from Ambers clutch that were born in April and she was born in June. Her coloring is the inside of a sweet potato and she has no tiger stripes, so I am really excited to see how she grows. I am also planning on keeping one of the girls from Ambers clutch that has the same coloring on her sides and spine as Ginger. Only problem with her is Nipper bit 2 of her toes off when they were smaller.
Jeff is right about how many dragons are now on the market, so I dont mind holding on to them alittle longer since I did the rearranging. I think the other thing was the fact that their are 2 possible fathers, but either way I can guarantee that they are Sandfires. Gimmie got her 3 times and Bam only got her once, so the best chance would be Gimmies. I guess that is what makes me the maddest about trying to sell her clutch because they are extremely beautiful and most of them have the green coloring to them, so they will probably be yellow as adults. Thank god she only had one clutch otherwise I would be in alot worse shape then I am now. Well I am off of here for now. Oh and Amber actually came from Desert Dragons. These are Glorias great grandkids. LOL Well now I am outtie, so you have fun and I will talk to you later, Andrea
LOL Hubby named her Ginger and she is beautiful. Hubby teased Lynn about her size because she is a big girl for her age, so everything is going really well over here. I still havent sold anymore babies, so its still pretty crowded over here. I did do some rearranging and that helped alot more then I expected. Nova is acting like she is going to lay again, but you never know with her. She just loves to dig in the sand, so who knows. I am surprised that her boys havent sold yet. I havent posted them on Fauna, but I did post them on Reptilegeeks. I have one female from that clutch and I plan on keeping her for the future.
Well I am glad to hear that everything is going good over there and the second clutch is beginning to hatch. Hopefully your luck will be better then mine. Well I am going to let you go and I will talk to you soon. Later, Andrea
Same as you it sounds! LOL They do keep you on your toes dont they? LOL I still have the one girl that loves to escape at night or should I say ANYTIME. She is the one pictured with the bruise on her side. No broken ribs, but one dandy bruise and you would think she would learn! She is 100% a people dragon and only content going everywhere with you. I did get that little female from Lynn yesterday too, so its been a crazy good over here so far this week. Thank god the humidity isnt bad today. How has the weather been there with you?
Hi Shine. How are you guys doing? Hope all is well and the monster grandkids are doing great. Well I will talk to you guys later for now, Andrea
