If a person in a situation such as yours were to simply come here, make an honest and heartfelt apology, and make things right....there's not much people can stir.

When someone comes in throwing insults, well....it's just throwing gasoline on a match you've already lit, and you may end up blowing up those who stood by you as well as those who didn't.

I want to say that Mem is a good guy. He had a death in the family and did not answer any emails or post for about 2 1/2 weeks I believe he said he would be gone.

He got back and his roommate who was taking care of all his animals decided to sell it to other people. So before you put the blame on a good person, why don't you email them first? Find out what happened? I don't believe this thread should have EVER Been made. You ruined someones rep by not trying to figure out what happened first!!

I do find it ironic that he isn't keeping in touch with people he owes dragons considering the thread he started on here previously regarding being owed money for a dragon deal. I seem to recall he posted several times a day about the matter and had little interest in hearing any excuses from the guy as to why he wasn't paying him or communicating...

You know, why would someone give their personal information on why they're going out of town? People say shit all the time, esp. when and if it's a family death.. Not many people want to talk about family deaths, as its painful!

Excuse me if you think I'm defending him, but he's a good guy and would never SCREW people intentionally!!!

for me . i was a cop years a go and i told him on his voice message that i had his address his phone and his bank with all his info , and if he knew anything about the law at all his signature was on my check and so is his girl freinds , i would take him to court and file charges agenst him for fraud , i would also file for any costs incured for doing so and that includes plaine tickets , he could be facing jail time and so could his girl for sineing it . also , this would be more expensive then returning my money and i gave him a certain amount of days to contact me , then i followed up with his voice again, this is why he contacted me back .it seems like from how he talks a big part of his money is from buying and selling . and thats no way to keep aflote , but if he don't have the money to give back he needs time to dig it up . i just keep on him until i get it . no threts just facts . this guy don't want to sit jail time someone presses charges on him he is goin to be sittin in jail and have a perminant mark on his record . no one will ever hire him for nothin,he will be screwed . he called back fuck was in his words a lot of times and telling me not to threten him , i told him i am not thretning just stateing the facts.,,,,,,,,,,,

And I know I'm late on this, but I hate to say it, because you were a cop year ago doesn't make the right for YOU to harass and threaten him. Do you know how bad thats against the law? I don't give a rats ass if you used to be a cop or not.. That is so wrong in so many ways. I hope karma gets back at you.

I've personally suffered 3 quite tragic family deaths in the past few years, and I promise you, they pretty much screwed up my mind, as I didn't have the money to go and bury them. And I also didn't spend my customers money to go.

So I'm just curious, what makes you think you can go and do this to your customers, put them on hold without contact, spend their money, and then just say you're "going to make things right", and everyone is just supposed to be good with that?

Why should people be any more understanding of you, then you were of your customer that made similar claims to you? Didn't you say in a mail to that customer that you basically didn't give a crap what excuse he was laying on you? Or words to that effect. Now the table is turned, and you want a sympathetic ear.

Whether you like it or not, whether you agree with it or not, YOU made some poor choices of questionable honesty, and some few of us have become suspicious of it. And now we're "gossip queens", because we see something others don't?

It's the whole ethics thing behind YOUR VERY OWN actions that brought the comments made about you. Try owning them, instead of calling names. You, yourself, brought this thread on. Not anyone else.

Really? Because that doesn't at all jive with the time line posted earlier in the thread. He was contacting people saying he didn't have the dragons or the money prior to his alleged return. Interesting that this new "excuse" has popped up regarding the roommate selling his animals.

So before you put the blame on a good person, why don't you email them first? Find out what happened?

His CUSTOMERS were e-mailing and calling him. They couldn't find out "what happened" or anything else because he wasn't replying or calling them back.

He ruined his reputation all by himself. If he actually follows through on his promises and makes things right it will help; but he should have NEVER spent their money before giving them what they purchased. I don't care what circumstances may or may not have arisen. And, "my roommate sold the animals while I was out of town" is a pretty lame excuse; not to mention it isn't very original.

well for now i am finished with this . i spoke to chris he said he was out of town . and he in fact did not have dragons to give me , he also said that he did not have my money, but he was going to make it up to me , he would pay me back my money in a fue weeks and when he has dragons again he would sell me some at a super deal , i am not looking for any kind of deals . just my money back.

Of course you can say "How do we know that she really spoke to him and that she isn't telling a lie". It's called credibility; she has some, Chris has none.

So yeah, without actual proof that was said, I don't feel that he should be blamed into this drama. There was only email said, no voice recordings of what was said. He is a great guy? "This could be true" "but there is no proof", you said it yourself....

What we have is at least three people who sent him money and didn't get what they paid for.

His list of excuses keep growing
1. My brother died, I had to go out of town.
2. I was out of town on "a job"
3. That wasn't me logged in while I was supposed to be away, it was my girlfriend on my account.
4. My computer crashed because my roommates downloaded porn.
5. My roommate sold everything while I was out of town.

Here's a question for you since you know how great a guy he is:

6 months ago, when he was ripping a guy that owed him money for doing the exact same thing he is doing, he claims that he lived with his girlfriend. Does he still live with her? If so, since she wasn't out of town supporting him during his time of great crisis dealing with the "death in the family" as evidenced by excuse #3, why wasn't she watching their "other roommates" that were downloading porn and selling all of his animals that were paid for prior to his emergency?

Chris, this is an open forum for those that have input. As one of the people that have been wronged, I am going to say that I agree whole heartedly with what Gecko Den said in their last post. Just as I won't deny Frog Style for coming to your aid, I won't deny others from voicing their opinion. I consider myself an intelligent person and all the excuses I hear are just one after the other and do not follow logic. The night that you had had time to post on the frog site about your brother's death, you could have taken two minutes to contact me by email and let me know what was up. Instead, myself and two others were blown off for over a week. What did you expect to happen? The time for excuses is over. I don't want excuses, I don't want promises, I don't want apologies, I want money. I think we have all suffered tragic losses, I know I have, it's no excuse for blowing someone off.

it seems years ago he was a decent guy to deal with. but theres nothing good recently said about the guy. its to bad . some good people start out that way and get temted by the dark side.

i just want my money period... he owes, wont return phone calls or emails. there is no excuse for him or anyone else who feels they need to chime in with excuses for him. period end of discussion. pay your debts or get slammed in the forums very simple.

It's funny what we refuse to tolerate from others, but then later on, we want to do the same actions without any repucussions.
It's like karma. Instead of ranting and raving, just make it right, be reasonable, and make the people happy. Maybe you could salvage a reputation, if you admitted to a mistake, repaid the funds and acted in a professional manner.
Rushing around trying to point fingers at people uninvolved just makes you look worse.
