    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

NOTA BENE #1: Since Fauna no longer allows the editing of ads, I am making a new one, still showing the initial full collection listed on Halloween 2024, but showing what has sold since then via a strikethrough.

NOTA BENE #2: Photos will be attached as I find the time to take updated ones, and also to have my friend downsize / reformat them for this new XenForo platform Fauna is utilizing. I honestly would rather just get on Video Chat or FaceTime with prospective Buyers between itineraries (next one commences this Tuesday, February 04, at noon EST as of now but may be pushed till February 15). Anyone who knows me, though, and especially who has seen my collection or even the animals I had sold when I vended Hamburg and Pittsburgh for eight (8) years, can attest to my top-notch quality and being "straightforward in [my] keeping practices" to quote Ben Davis / NC Venom from a few years ago, so You will not be disappointed with anything You acquire from me!

Save ‘Eversor’, my 0.1.0 LTC’04 Boiga dendrophila dendrophila (Mangrove Snake), which I have had for >20 years (since 05 October 2004!), “Stan Lee”, my 1.0.0 LTC’22 Ophiophagus hannah (King Cobra, Sumatran locality), my Dasypeltis spp. and a few others, I have decided to sell my personal collection. I do not need to, nor do I want to, so I am in no rush to, but with as much as I am on the road, and then just tending to them when I am home, feeding once or twice, and not really enjoying them, I decided it’s pointless to have so many animals (which, honestly, isn’t even that many and is quite a manageable number for me). I was preparing to breed many of these this year, too, and still will if they don't sell by this next itinerary.

A secondary reason is that I purchased a Planet Fitness Black Card membership (to use around the nation) and started working out again—I want to make a lifestyle of it and take care of myself, including returning to hiking (mostly mountains) and mountain biking. I also would like to make time and space for Love and even a few more children if destined for me (even fostered or adopted) before I get much older. Always tending to animals during the little time I am home isn't going to work with my ultimate desires.

Because I do not need or want to sell these, prices are FIRM although there will be a 'package price' at the end of each category (Venomous, Nonvenomous and Enclosures) and ‘grand package prices’ at the end of everything, and no more deposits or holding animals—not even for friends. The animal(s) of interest will remain advertised until paid in full—first come, first served.

And yes, after I have sold the animals, or as I sell them, many Neodesha Cages with the NPI Racks (produced / purchased between 2015-18, with many customizations installed by NPI—do inquire), and a couple of Exo-Terra enclosures with the Exo-Terra Terrarium Cabinets (acquired brand new in March 2024), will be available. Of course, You are welcome to buy the enclosures with the animals—please see the NOTA BENEs in the ENCLOSURES section below.

Photos upon request, and inquire for further details. Where pairs or trios are listed, even on separate lines due to details (exempli gratia, different breeders between the specimens), I prefer not to break them up. OGR transport ONLY (inquire for pricing), and yes, I transport enclosures as well and thus will be transporting all of these (unless local pickup of course—for animals, too), and I will beat any ground carrier.

A strikethrough means the animal(s) or enclosure(s) has been sold, and the ‘package’ and ‘grand package’ prices will be adjusted accordingly.
