I have a small group of bumblebee toads eating melanogaster fruit flies and ready to go to their new homes.
They’re a very easy and hardy species to keep so long as you give them ventilation and don’t try to keep them like dart frogs. I keep my 5 adults in a 5 gallon tank with a 200 woven wire mesh screen lid to keep in fruit flies, feed them hydei fruit flies 2-3x per week, spot water the plants 2x per week and only mist them when I am trying to induce breeding.
If I could only keep one species it would honestly probably be these guys. They are a delight and bold once they get used to you/their surroundings.
DM with any questions, I want to make sure these babies get set up correctly and do well in their new homes.
Prices are $75 each, $200 for 3 or $300 for 5+. Contact me with your zip code for shipping quotes.
First two photos of juveniles for sale, 3rd & 4th photos of adults, 5th photo of adult set-up.
