    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I don't even think the roommate exists.

So far the only evidence I've seen makes Candace look pretty bad. Not that Renee did a great job backing up her case (not at all), but this is turning into one of those backfire BOI threads.

IF Candace really did write that check, then it was the dumbest idea ever to start this thread.
 
I believe that this "Kira" is an alias, and Candace is using it.

I believe what went down between Renee and Candace aka Kira is true, and I also dont believe that she even called or went down to the sheriff's office.

Why?
Because from the answers given on just calling the place, and overall, lead me to assume that some of those that have background checked on this woman, work in either an investigative job, or they are themselves part of a police department (whether it be county, highway patrol, or city police).

Plus, if people are looking for your attorney, and they cant find him.. then thats suspect as well.
You are only sitting around getting angry for being caught doing something that you probably shouldnt have.

Let's not forget that, in the auction, ... in all of the U.S., plus, ... what a huge coincidence it was that Candace, and the winner (whose very first post, on Fauna, was for this auction), were in the very same building.:rolleyes:

Exactly.
I just dont buy everything shes saying.

Im starting to become of the mind "screenshot or it didnt happen", because who knows.. she could be sitting at her home all day instead of making phone calls and going down to the sheriff's office like she said she did.

I just.. im starting to doubt her more and more.
 
I find it humorous that Candace expects us all to just believe her when she says that she went to the sheriff and they said there was no warrant, but doesn't mind calling Renee out for not posting the check in question. Especially when a few others have claimed to call and received very different answers about those warrants.

The auction thing sure would be a major coincidence, but so is getting accused of writing bad checks when you just happen to have a history of writing bad checks.
 
This thread just gets weirder and weirder.

Candace, you will have to show some proof of what you're saying about not having any warrants out for you. You telling us that you called or went to the sheriff's office is not proof, anyone can say anything. If you expect Renee to post proof of the check you need to follow the same guidelines. If you don't you will not be walking away from this thread looking too good, and that's a guarantee.

Maybe a 3-way call is in order? Someone trustworthy here on the site + Candace + an office with info? Or take a video of you physically going to the sheriff's office and asking the questions. Just a thought.

I have read all fifteen pages of this thread. I agree that Renee did not handle this matter in the best way but you have dug a deep hole. A lot of people have sympathized with you and felt you had been victimized. I don't know if I missed it somehow but no one has asked the question...

Did you write a bad check to Renee?

Before being qualified and questioned....Yes I just joined and my curiosity has gotten the better of me on the truth!!

Apparently I'm not going to get an answer to my question. One thing escapes me, your tone concerning this. I would find it typical for a person to be pissed off if they were a victim of identity theft/fraud. You have not expressed any anger towards "Kira" or "whoever". The only “somewhat” anger you have displayed is towards Renee for calling you out. You stated Kira has open cases but nothing has been found. I believe Kira does not exist and possibly an alias used by you.
You have been called out on several topics and your answers make no sense. I would bet the farm that if you and I went down to Bay County SO or Santa Rosa SO, that I would be the only one leaving. The only way I would believe you went to BCSO is if you took a picture or video with your camera/phone. But of course I'm sure the reply I would get from you is that the camera feature probably doesn't work, right!!
The courts and the police are not stupid. With all the technology out there, matching up names, photos, driver's licenses, evidence, etc. are essential in an investigation. Warrants aren't issued “just because”. Investigators have to be 100% certain before signing charges.
According to the FDLE web site, there is a hit on your name in Santa Rosa County. The interesting piece of information on that page is tattoo information. That tells me you have been booked in a jail somewhere in Florida or maybe another state. On your 06-21-2011, 09:26 PM post you said you have never been to jail. I believe you have been to jail and have been fingerprinted. The fingerprint cards have a box for tattoo information. The cards are sent to the state and entered in AFIS/CCH/III.
Candace, you pulled the wool over the forum at first but I think you have been exposed for the person you are. I could understand if people provided unsubstantiated information but your story/answers don't match documented information.

I noticed that too. I also wanted to make sure it was right so I matched it up to her post in the forums here. Just so there is no doubt who the warrant is for.

Now that most of you seem to know the truth, please keep in mind, that Candace, "Kira", is my only enemy in life. If anything happens to me please scrutinize her in depth. She has my address, my phone number, and at this point, I am fearful for myself and my Son. She has given me hang up calls at all hours, (or had someone do it for her) that stopped about a week ago, and have been watched at my home by people in a dark blue Chevy 4X4 blazer, or Ford Bronco. First I just want to say NO ONE kicked your sister for her son. They just said that it had no place in this thread, which is true. We see a lot of people digging for sympathy with remarks like that, and usually they pan out to be false claims. They just don't have a place here period. Does it have anything to do with this thread? No, so it shouldn't be here.

Other than that, Candace has begun to look fishy and I'm curious as to what else will come of this thread. Would be nice to get some closure but you more than likely won't be seeing any of the animals you lost, and it looks like Candace has been absent from this thread since people began digging up info on her. If you are scared, contact authorities about the situation. If she is really stalking you as you seem to be insinuating they should be able to help you with that.

I hope everything works out okay....I hope charges are filed against her at some point so she can spend some time in jail.
Make sure you keep you and your son safe. Be aware of your surroundings and what's going on. Keep your camera phone or digital camera close for proof of stalking/license plates/people and/or vehicle. Keep a log of events and phone calls. If the hangup calls are blocked or unknown, they can still be traced. If someone tells you different, they are wrong. The only problem you have is a prepaid (throw away cell phone) may have fraudulent subscriber info. Usually for an anti -stalking PO, you have to experience two or more events of stalking within a short period of time. Make sure you get police reports done to document events. If you end up in court, walking in with a file folder full of paperwork is better than walking in empty handed. Need any other help let me know!!

I tried, and when I contacted BC. they told me to contact SRC. It's just another run around that I don't want to be in the middle of yet again. SRC did their job and let the other County know of the warrant. In the meant time, I'm keeping as quiet as I can (that my stupid temper will allow), but trying to let people know, just incase. Call me paranoid, call me whatever you want. I just want it out there that the only person I have any problems with is with Candace. Really, no one else. This is it. As I said, I have no reps left, she took them all. And, thanks to some people actually wanting to know the truth, I have nothing left to say other than THANK YOU! to those who looked and thought, and concluded. I don't know where you live. Only reason I know your number is because you emailed it and posted it on Fauna. I don't care to call or stalk you!
Post a copy of this check, case number or something or and I'll appease everyone else and post a video of another visit to the sheriff office. Until I see some proof from you that you have received a check with my name on it I'm done fooling with you and your crap.
You should be receiving a notice of charges filed against you in a week give or take. They will have my lawyers contact information on it so feel free to post it on here if you wish.
As said before I'll happily post evidence of a sheriffs office visit as soon as I get the proof I've requested since before this thread was started. Until then I won't be participating due to not getting any answers to the questions I've posted a dozen times.
 
Hey Renee, Why won't you post a picture of the check? Did she sign it in front of you or was it already signed?
