    =====================

I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

Here we go....
I bought out a partial collection with Ball Pythons I didn't need to get the ones I wanted....I should keep them but need some of the money I spent for other projects. So here is the stupidity.

All have been cooled and currently breeding as you read this. None have produced this season..so yes I am stupid for not keeping them.

***JUST FOR THE SELECT FEW....I FOUND NO REASON TO QUARANTINE THEM FOR ANY AMOUNT OF TIME...THOUGH SOME SAY I SHOULD HAVE JUST TO FIND OUT WHAT I ALREADY KNOW. IF YOU PURCHASE THEM AND FIND ANYTHING WRONG I WILL PAY YOUR VET BILLS AND REFUND YOU EVERY DOLLAR YOU SPENT INCLUDING SHIPPING COST BOTH WAYS.

NONE WILL BE SPLIT UP and NO TRADES and ALL PRICES ARE VERY FIRM...So please don't ask

Pic. 1
Adult Pair of Pastels. Female 1438g Male 1271g
Pastel female was paired with a Spider since November..she is the one on the left and if I could have got a better pic you can see the blue "shed" eyes...could be a P.O.S. can't fell eggs but doesn't mean there not there.
Pair only.......$1100.00 plus shipping...very firm

Pic. 2
Adult Albino's. Female 1465g Male 709g
Albino has been paired with a Albino sine November...She is the one with the old scar on her back. I have examined the scar and can find no reason why it won't shed off in a few sheds. She shed TODAY...so it could be the P.O.S. shed. My male started breeding her within 15 minutes. He is the one in the Pic. Can't feel eggs but may already be there.
Pair only.........$1500.00 plus shipping...very firm

Pic. 3
Nice Pied Male....682g
Just brought him home today and he is breeding my Axanthic as I type. I already have a breeding Pied male and if I didn't I would keep this one for sure. He's nicer than mine..ALOT more white but I am attached to the one I already have.
He is $1500.00 plus shipping ...very firm

If you want all 5...the Pastel pair, the Albino pair and the Pied male I will let you have them for $3800.00 plus shipping.

So there you have it...if you have any questions you can call me or text to 717-608-7424 or just send me an email, the old fashion way, to [email protected]

Thank you,

Travis

couple questions

ok so according to you ,
your guaranteeing then hands down .
but i was curious if these animals are purchased , and they do have something contagious that you didnt know about and they are put in quarantine by the buyer and say in quarantine room they have animals already in there and they get infected are you covering those losses as well ? im just wondering how far the guarantee will go since you didnt feel the need to be thorough and quarantine them yourself to be sure before resale ..

So...you are asking if I will cover everything in a quarantine room if these are introduced into that room and everything in there developes a problem...I would have to say no to that because there would be no way to prove if the so called "problem" was from what you got from me or from what you already have in there.
I am saying...buy them...quarantine them alone....vet check them with every test possible and if you find anything I will do what I said above.

***JUST FOR THE SELECT FEW....I FOUND NO REASON TO QUARANTINE THEM FOR ANY AMOUNT OF TIME...

Nice Pied Male....682g
Just brought him home today and he is breeding my Axanthic as I type.

Really? Wow. :eek::ack2:

I guess people never learn. I guess it takes a $20,000 collection loss to get it through their heads. I suppose I now have another person to add to my DNBFOSTL. *sigh*

This is not the place to rail about one's personal views or expectations. The lack of quarantine has been pointed out, with a question asked and answered. If anybody is uncomfortable with the situation, they don't have to buy. It really is THAT simple.

what I need to know is'do you have any idea of what these animals might have had as far as a problem, could it be pyromyxo,or a simple respir, bactiria, growth problems, messed up cloaca in the male or female.or could it be septic infection do to a secondary cause.please post the problems you have seen or hypothisize about.thanks

Listen....this is a topic for the forum and not for my ad....I have given a full discloser as far as what I would be responsible for once purchased. I stand behind what I said.
If you buy them and want to take them to a qualified vet to run all your test on everything you listed above and you find a problem I will take care of it.
Now you tell me every snake you buy do you take them to the vet and run those listed test on or does just simply placing them in quaratine for several months fix all the problems that could occur. I have bought snakes that I have quarantined but usually its stuff I pick up at shows and from questionable breeders with poor practices in care of their collection.
Its that simple...

Hey you don't have to act like a little girl, its just a quistion.I was going to talk to you about buying the albinos for my collection, but sence you wanted to cop an attitude over me trying to get an idea of what I might have to do to save their lives or not,I'll go and find some somewhere else.you have a good day

Not trying to sound like a "little girl" I am just upset that my ad turns into a forum discussion when there is already a forum on this subject. Not trying to cop an attitude but you have no idea how much flack I have taken on this since I posted this ad....private messages and forums.
I am trying to be as upfront as possible....I could have lied...I could have taken them to a show and lied there but that is no way to run a business.
There are 8 replies to this ad not about prices or shipping but questions about my methods and it is destroying the cahnces on me selling these snakes. I hope you can understand my frustration and re-reading my post back to you, you are ligit in forming the opinion that I was indeed coping an attitude. For that I do apologize.....

hey I was'nt trying to argue or nothing like that.I was just wondering about the causes I read about I dont know so I cant say.All I was wanting to know is are there still any problems your awair of.or are they still sick.no miss intentions intended, and what happened when you breed them.I've been loking for some albinos to add to me and my wifes collection.but you have to understand I bought 2 harlequins and got them home and put them in a different room and everything and still picked up the pyro virus so I have to be careful I done lost 3 of my snakes and do'nt want anymore to die.I spent countless dollers at a vet on some that were still sick and thank god we saved them.I found that viruses have a hard time adapting to high humidity and 90 degree temps,so thats what I done along with the antibiotics.Though the ones I lost still makes me sick to my stomach. My animals are like my children and I treat them the same way.so thats why I was wondering what kind of problems you had if any.My appologies

They are not sick...they are very healthy....the Albino Male and the Pastel Male are out of my collection....the Female Albino, Pastel and Male Pied are the ones I picked up yesterday. I visually see no problem with them....I am just letting everyone know since I didnt quaratine them. I not trying to flip these...I had to put a package together to get the ones I wanted for my collection in the snakes I bought. I dont need them I have plenty.....so I packaged them with males I don't need...disclosed all the info and guarantee with them so a buyer could be aware of what they are purchasing...

ok'I understand.I did'nt know so when my check gets here i'll check to see if you still have them if I dont hear from this other person. He has a couple albinos for 650 how old I do'nt know so I dont know what I will do just yet. Thanks for letting me know.have a great day

No...I didn't get the male from him...I have had the male sine it was a hatchling...I have had the pastel male since a hatchling...bought it from Garik.
I bought from Victor
A pied male and female (male listed in ad)
A albino female (listed in ad)
2 pastel females (one listed in ad)
All I wanted from the beginning was the Pied female and the Mojave...he wanted a package deal I offered the package...he said yes and I drove and picked them up. You can check my website pics of breeders and you will see the albino male and pastel male on there from when they were very little....same snakes.

1 mojave female.

Lair, it appears that you are honest and upfront. why are everyones panties in a bunch? if these were animals i was looking for i would buy with confidence.
mike

Thank you...Michael
I guess some people like seeing their name in post....I really don't know. Still scratching my head on this one...heck, all I want to do is sell some snakes that I didn't want in the first place and get rid of some breeders I don't need. Oh ya, trying to be as honest as I can about the transaction before it happens.
