    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

Ok. I finally got around to fixing my mistake on my first attempt to let you guys/girls know how incredible these Suri babies that Star produced are. I've had some medical issues, so Im Sorry it's taken so long to get this up Star!

First if all, if you read the long write-up I did under Star Schaffer (I forgot there wasn't a c in there) - you will understand how happy I was with Alice-my first pick. Today, she is twice as stunning as she was back in Jan when I had the pleasure of visiting Star's zoo. I can't describe the health and beauty that emminates from every boa in her collection!

After getting Alice home, and patiently settled in, I couldn't hardly wait to make the drive back across the state to pick up my male! Well. . . . I decided that before bringing another boa of that caliber into my collection, I would go get my Tudehope line Suri, and Alice(#9) checked out for any parasites, etc. Im a bit overboard about those kinda things. Well, Im glad I did! Doc offered to probe them, and neither had been probed before, so what the heck, eh? Turns out, Inkha my Tudehope line Suri, who is Very aberrant(unlike the Futo line babies from Star)-Was not a female! Well, tough decision at this point. I had the money in pocket, Sixx's(#6) enclosure was setup, and ready. . . .

I get to Star's, not having a clue which baby was coming home that day. We went through a few babies, I held some gorgeous boas, and she pulls #3 out. She had just shed and was covered in pink! In my opinion, there wasn't a tail in the clutch that came close to hers, she has this gorgeous pastel wash over her entire body-except for that huge blood-red tail, and very symmetrical almost perfectly sized peaks! 30 seconds or less, and my mind was made up. :)

So now I have 2 absolutely stunning girls that I wouldn't take $20k for! Im actually considering going back for #6 too if I don't get much grief from the fiance. She is a bit more cool about it now cause Star gave us the oppurtunity to re-home a beautiful and sweet BRB boy-that my fiancé fell in love with. Star-you are awesome, and so is every baby in that clutch!! I love my 2 girls more everyday. It's interesting to see the different personalities too. Alice has an attitude! She sits up on top of her coconut dome 24/7, and could care less about a hide:) Open her tub, and it sounds like a 10'er in there hissing:) Touch her on the head, & she will literally climb up my arm!

Nikki(#3)-stays under her coconut dome or hidden in the foliage on her hot side. She never once has hissed, and will actually sit still on your wrist for awhile after running laps around your neck for an hour:)

I really believe I got the 2 holdbacks! ;) Again, Thank you Star, Chris, Juliette, and Samael! I will have some jaw-dropping BEAutiful ladies for many years to come! I hope to produce some as nice as yours in the future! No Boa-morph or locality, no matter how nice, can hold a candle next to a nice Suri, and folks-Ive yet to see Suris this nice in person. Pictures don't even come close to doing them justice!

1st 2 - Nikki. Look at that tail! Pictures just pull all the color out of these girls. I am def looking for a nice dslr!

2nd 2 - Alice. I love how much white she has in her tail, and that stripe is wicked! I also love that floating 3rd saddle!
