I have bought several snakes from Don Soderberg at South Mountain Reptiles (most recently just yesterday 01/01/2016) and thought it was time to give him a shout out.
He's got gorgeous corn snakes and the occasional other species for sale. They aren't the cheapest you'll find but they are very fairly priced, especially for the quality. All of the snakes I have purchased have arrived healthy, obviously well cared for and carefully packaged. They also have been exactly as represented.
Don is a straight shooter who will disclose any issues with a specific animal right in the description (i.e. , this snake is being offered at a reduced price because he's grouchy). He's also prompt at responding to e-mails and phone calls, and is willing to offer help and advice after the sale. I called him with panicked newbie questions back when I had just gotten my first corn snake and he talked me down and helped me get her eating. BTW it was operator error - I was going about it the wrong way.
I trust Don enough that whenever I go looking for a snake, even if it's not a corn snake, I check with him first to see if he happens to have one just to give him first crack at the business.
