    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

I've had these pictures for a few days and I just remembered I was planning on posting them!

First is Puddle, our female NERD Line Super Lemon Pastel Jungle. She arrived with a stuck shed that didn't want to come off...she's already going back in to shed, so she's getting some much needed soaking time!

Second is Gin, our male Sable. This guy never likes to sit still but I managed to get a couple good shots! I don't think he knows he's a Ball Python...he never balls up!

Third is Tonic, our gorgeous female Sable. She's just as bad as her brother when it comes to staying still for pictures but she's cute as a button! :D

man im gunna have to show you a new female mojo I got :D I know you looooooove the reduced pattern mojos and I got a new one :) I really need to get a new camera so I can take better pics. What kind of camera do you have?

YAY! I can't wait to see pics. Do I make it THAT apparent that I'm a sucker for Mojaves? LOL! :D

I have a Nikon Coolpix L22. It's fairly cheap and can take some awesome clear, close-up pics. :)

:D hopefully with selective breeding I can create a line of mojaves that are very reduced aberrant patterned at least thats my plan LOL. The inly pics of her I have right now are from the site I found her on.......as soon as I get her I will post a thread on here :) I love to show off my mojos :D

I also love the pictures you take :) they are interesting the snakes look like they are trying to play peek a boo :) lol

Send me a PM or email when you post some pics so I don't over-look them!

I'm also getting a female Mojave. She should be arriving Thursday along with a female Orange Belly from Matthew Jackson. I love this part of the hobby. Waiting for new arrivals is so exciting! :)

Peek a boo sounds a lot more fun than what I have to go through to get the Sables to sit still. The poking method doesn't work for these two. I keep my boyfriend close by and have him kneel down and have a stare off...it usually keeps them in one position for a second...then they realize they can just slither by the creepy guy. :rofl:

Love the sables. They look like my pair. My female is very aggressive, she loves to try and bite everytime I get near her. I have never seen a ball python so aggressive, are yours like that?
:thumbsup::thumbsup:For nice snakes

Nice snakes Nichole!!

You're gonna love your Orange Belly from Matt! If she is as feisty as mine, I hope you have good reflexes, haha. She tries to bite me often but I'm too quick for her!! (You have to be quick when you've worked with retics!)

Thanks for the compliments! They're more hyper than anything. The female is REALLY shy (until I take her out of her tub) and is a terrible eater for me...that's probably why her brother is almost double her size. Lol.

I just found out that these three were rarely handled...and with me having such a small collection, I like to handle my snakes daily if possible so it's hard to leave them alone. I'm really surprised they haven't had a taste of me yet...I honestly would rather have the feisty types, they tend to eat better! :ack2:

Thanks! I'm glad I took your advice on Matt's thread and got one! Matt is a really nice guy and I can only imagine the quality of his animals. They'll be here in the morning. I've got a long night ahead of me. :rofl:

Is that the lemon girl you were telling me about Nichole? She's beautiful! We also have a NERD lemon pastel, lemon bumblebee, and pastel we hand picked from Andy up there in NE. They are keeping color nicely! The lemon pastel just shed and she looks like a banana at 550g. The pastel looks more like a graziani with more peach and orange tones.

That's actually a different girl. That's our Super Lemon Pastel Jungle.

I attached a really old picture of the Lemon Pastel I was telling you about. This girl is like an orange citrus color. She was going in to shed in the pic and has gained a lot more color and blushing since. I'll post some new ones soon. :)

Thanks! I love the Lemon Pastels. They gain color instead of brown out. I can't wait to see my Super Lemon and Lemon at 1,000+ Grams. :D

Here's one of our 2 NERD lemon pastel girls. I think it's your girl's lil sister. I like the blushing on yours better though :thumbsup:

I'll have to get some dorsal shots of our other lemon girl. She doesn't look like these two we're talkin' about. She has bow ties down her neck and the rest looks like melting razor wire.

well. this pic isn't current. this is the day we got this lil girl from NERD. She's much bigger now. We love em both equally, but they look much different.
