    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

I will be attaching all emails. In short this guy bought a group of baby snakes from me in October. At this time he has managed to kill most of them by overheating them despite being told they are being kept too hot. It has just came to my attention he is on Facebook claiming the snakes are sick. I do not have good internet here at the farm so I will not be able to check back constantly so be patient if you have questions. I will have to attach the emails in sections as Fauna will not allow all in one post.

One of the female black milks didn’t make it and lost the 1 mbk. Not sure if it’s just bad luck or what not had any other issues. I’m probably sol just letting you know. Maybe you’ll have some stuff this year I’ll be interested in and get a deal not your fault either but they had great care not even in the same rack or same side of the room so just bad luck. I assume they were eating fine before hand

Hey quick question I haven’t kept the black milks 2 of them still haven’t eatin the other is doing fine. I’ve read the can go off food this time of year just not sure if I should try something or just wait and they will get back to feed. Normal temps hit spot in rack is about 87 cool side 78-80 normal temps for colubrids. Also had 1 Mexican black king not eat and finally die the king snake is whatever it happens but I do want these milk snakes to thrive they seem healthy otherwise and I don’t think it’s anything

I had them off heat in a room temp at 75 since we last talked. From the start the 1 was eating fine even with the lower heat temps still not wanting to eat but he’s very active always moving around just won’t take a meal is all

All were eating good. I have three here that are waiting to ship after the weather warms up all still feeding good. I'm afraid the temps you had them at stressed them out. They should not get over 82 for a high spot. I keep them in the mid 70's. They come from the mountains where it is cooler. I assume you got my last message explaining your temps were too hot for them. Please make sure to lower their temps. As to the Black king no idea there. They were all pounding ft pinks. I still have several here with no issues. If you want to cover shipping I will send you another black king.

Hey were these black milk snakes all eating? I had the 1 die and I have 1 female who’s eating fine and I have the male who isn’t eating aswell as I lost a Mexican black king snake. I keep a lot of baby colubrids and I don’t have issues very often so I’m just a bit confused is all all of my baby hogs that have ate are thriving I had a few die this year that never would take their first meal. Just sucks I’m a dad of 3 so losing 1 black milk sucks but if a 2nd goes that really sucks just curious what I got myself into

lol just had another mbk die. I have literally gotten animals from many reputable breeders I have never in my life seen something like this come from 1 single person. This is absolutely insane. 2 black milks 2 mbk and 2 scaleless rats. These are the only snakes that have died at my house since the past 2 years. I haven’t had a single death but some how im supposed to believe it’s my fault? I’m gonna start asking in some colubrid pages about you to see if anyone else has had issues with your animals because this isn’t normal.

Nick,
I have no idea what you have going on. The siblings to the snakes you got are for the most part still here and doing well. I know you over heated the black milks. We discussed that a while back. I have been breeding and selling snakes for a very long time. Everything you got months ago was feeding a doing great here. To my knowledge you are the only one who has lost any babies from the species you lost. The customer who got the other pair of black milks lives in Arizona and his are doing great. The other trio are going to a guy in Houston once the weather gets better for shipping and are nice and healthy. As far as Mexican black kings. I had 15 total this year. I still have 10 here that are getting shipped as soon as the weather warms up. I tried to help you out when you contacted me about the Black milk. I explained your temps were too high. Not much more I can do for you from across the country.

So idk what you have going on or what your doing but I will not recommend you to anyone I’ve talked to some people who have also had some issues with you. I have gotten myself a fair amount of snakes this year and literally your snakes are the only snakes I’ve had issues with. I lost a Mexican king a scaless rat and 2 black milks. I keep plenty of reptiles and you can see everything I do on Facebook and how clean my reptile rooms are I don’t hide anything my customers come to my house and pick animals out their self so they can see how well taking care of my collection is. So save the excuses just letting you know it’s very ironic that 3 different species of snakes have died and this isn’t a good way to do business if you want to keep a good name for yourself.

I don’t gain anything from any of this I don’t wanna even have to waste time emailing you if I didn’t have issues. But I’m not new at this sam so my concerns are very legitimate. I can promise you that a 86-87 hot spot for the milks didn’t cause 6 snakes to some how die when I have 35 hognose I produced this year not a single snake died. Not a single animal I won has died but the ones I got from you 6 of them now. I really just wanted to see who else has had issues because I’m sure I’ll find som people I can’t be the only one lol

Go for it. I have been selling on line for 25 years. All of the siblings to the snakes you got are doing great. Just sent out two scaleless yesterday. I offered to help you out early on. Well past my terms of service. You had the snakes for a good bit before you let me know you were having issues with a black milk. At the time I let you know your temps were way too high. At that time you didn't mention having any issues with any other babies. I have all emails between us.

So in the last email you can see he is still keeping them at 86-87 degrees. At that temp you would need to feed the rats and kings every other day to keep weight on. The Black milks will stress and die at these temps. I am attaching pics below taken this morning of siblings to the snakes he bought. All healthy and waiting to be shipped to their new homes.
