This is long overdue.
Russ P/Russ Pascatore deserves credit for standing behind his animals.
I received a nice pair of Black Milks a few years ago from Russ. His adults were the darkest I could find. I had gotten some over the years that retained too much residual banding which is a heartbreak when you raise up an animal hoping it will be a beautiful solid black irridescent jewel.
I received the babies from Russ and noticed some problems near the vents that looked very scary. These were the last 2 that Russ had other than the 2 he was keeping for himself. I had serious concerns and Russ took them seriously. He sent me the 2 he was hoping to keep for himself and gave me quite a bit off the price of the first 2.
The replacement 2 were perfect. A month later the first 2 shed and all the scary crusty stuff I had been putting Neosporin on shed out without any scarring.
It turns out Russ popped the little guys just before shipping to double check the sexes and did not realize they were in shed and the skin in the at area at the time was very vulnerable. It did indeed look very scary but he did his best to make it right.
I now still own 4 of the Blackest Gaigeae I have ever had, and Russ should get credit for standing by his animals and even sending his 2 hold backs which I felt bad about since the others shed out just fine.
I would tell anyone looking to do business with Russ to not have any concerns and thank you Russ for the beautiful animals I'm still enjoying in case you read this.
