    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

I dont know what it is with the Pinstripe's (yes the normal Pinstripes too)
But IMHO the Pinstripe cross's are well some of the nicest morphs around
I recently was on Kingsnake and came across a Pinstripe Butterscotch Hypo by Jon Courtney and well its simply beautiful
Then there's the lesser/butter pins, Jigsaws... Im sure you get my point :rofl: I dont know what it is about the Pinstripes but I LOVE EM

Anyway what's some of your fav Base morphs?? And the Combo's thats made with them...

As for a base morph I'm all about the pieds and the Lighting Pied (Axanthic Pied) is one of my all time favs.

My favorite base morph is without a doubt albino. I have wanted one since I first saw them in a reptiles magazine around 1995. I remember showing other people and they always thought the pied next to it in the add was awesome..... I thought the pied was butt ugly and wanted no part, but the albino was just smoking.

Anyway, I would have to say IMHO nearly every albino cross has been a disappointment..... well except the albino pied. So I have come to appreciate the pied as well. :shrug01:

Truth be told everyone seems to prefer a high white pied... I know everyone has there own thing but if I wanted a white Ball Python I would get a BEL or Ivory... Now a nicely defined low white pied with bright blushing would be more my taste...

As for recessive traits Super Pastel Clowns... Or Pastel G Stripe's
I try not to focus to much on recessive traits in my breeding plans But IMO Clowns are a very important morph and when breed to the right Co-dom or dom traits het clown the offspring can be quite spectacular
I'll have to check to see if its been done ( Im sure it has LoL) But a nice reduced pattern Super Pastel Pinstripe Clown... The name speaks for its self (as Im sure theres an actual name for the morph Im just not aware of it :rofl:)

Cool Deal Matt funny how that worked out huh? :rofl: Yes I have to agree the normal Albino's are by far the nicest Albino's as when mixed with other morphs they just dont stick out except for the Pinstripe Albino but hey its a Pinstripe :rofl:
You appreciate the Pied as long as it followed by the albino trait?

I do love my low white pied, cause she's got a smoking hot pattern. I like pieds no matter how much white they have! Although I like when they have pattern on their whole bodies, not just the head (like the spied).

:iagree:

Yeah is there a pin clown because I don't think there is one yet but I don't know I saw a pin het clown but still any one have any pin clown combos.

Is it like a trade secret as to what people are breeding? Something kept under tight wraps?

Not really as I'll freely share most of what I have going on in my breeding plans but yes I do have somethings in play that I wont share so freely as its something I have going on mostly with Dinkers and CH Imports that stand out
As if one or more of them do happen to prove out I want to be able to had the chance to place the certain one's that prove out with other morphs to see what is the outcome before I actually come out and say anything on the matter... I guess you could say it would be way of monopolizing the traits that certain Ball Pythons passed down... that way say I do sell some of the dinkers that proved out I will already know what happens when I place them with Pinstripes Mojaves Pastels Fires Spiders and so on that way when someone goes to breed them thinking there the first to place them two genes together I did that last year or the year before so I already know what the outcome of that is.. leaving me the advantage as by the time others have done that I'm placing double genes of the same genes ( Ie Special Morph X Pinstripe combo breeding to Special Morph X Pastel combo) together to place me yet again 2-3 steps ahead with the new traits and genes I've been working with

Hope your able to understand this

I am working on some jigsaws this year. Just saw a lock last night between my male pin and female mojo. I am also working on some blonde blasts and spinners, my male pin has been a busy guy:D

I only have 2 male Morphs that are being used in my breeding plans
Pinstripe and Mojave and there's a reason these are the only two male morphs Im using they lay the basis for some excellent combo's out there IMO anyway
