The WNY Herp Society show and sale was this past Sunday, and I volunteered to run the raffle for the club, so got an eyeful of lovely reptiles all day long.
I couldn't help but leave with one... Here's my newest snake, a CB '07 little girl from a small local breeder. Eventually she'll be Ermy's mate (my first snake, an '03 normal BP). I'm not sure what to name her yet, was trying to think of a military/war related girl name (Ermy is named after R. Lee Ermey, since I was watching Mail Call a lot at the time and Ermy's pattern reminded me of camoflage). Any ideas?
She was the lightest, prettiest baby BP at the show. You can't see in the photo, but her tail has a nice big light stripe, and thin dark banding, and her eyes are much lighter than Ermy's, and seem almost green. It's SO cool to have a wee baby ball again! I've been on the boa bandwagon for so long that I forget how cute their ducky little faces can be.
Here she is...
