Hello all. I was lucky enough to be able to attend the annual reptile show in Timonium, Maryland today and wanted to share a few photos of my new baby girl. I am really excited as I have been wanting a California King for several years now. My family and I have shared time with redtail boas, corns, milks, balls but hadn't found the right king. Today I did.
She is a high white aberrant (not sure this applies but appears to) albino cal king. She was sold as just a albino cal king. She's about 4 - 6 months old.
Sorry about the photo quality - still have a lot to learn about photography. The washed out white one is a much more accurate visual of her colors. She is very white almost to the point of matching the paper towel in the temporary tank. The 2nd is, at least I hope, a clearer, cleaner view of her pattern.
Hope you like her. Toying with names so any suggestions would be appreciated. Our family (actually my daughters always have to name all pets with female names no matter what gender) so they decided it was OK if I name my female with a male name if I choose.
So far in the running are Bear, Moose, & Thunder.
