It is with a great deal of trepidation that we have made a decision to place the majority of our breeders with other breeders for at least the near future. For the past several months we have been extremely busy with our environmental business and have had to hire outside help to attempt to keep up with the day to day requirements of our collection. This has not worked well for us, our customers and more importantly our animals.
For many years we have prided ourselves with producing some of the healthiest, most beautiful animals to be had in the country. Our breeding program has been very successful and the animals were a joy to keep. Many people have received a lot of joy working with the animals we produced and many new friends have resulted from our involvement in the hobby. For this I am most thankful.
But in the past 10 – 14 months though we have had two outbreaks of mites, health problems in some of the neonates, reduced production from the breeders and generally a decline in the standards of quality we have upheld over the years for Cherryville Farms.
So in order to have time to correct these problems, we fired all the help and are retaining only a few animals for ourselves. (About 40 total, that I will take care of myself) The balance as I said before are being put on breeder loan with other breeders around the country.
We will still be available for email help and will be glad to help anyone that wants and/or needs questions answered. Do not hesitate contacting us for information and advice, but as of 5/01/2006 we will no longer be selling any animals to the general public till some time in the future when we have the personal time to properly provide our customers with the best the reptile hobby has to offer in service and quality of neonates.
Sincerely,
John & Cindy Cherry
