    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Will trade, I am downsizing to only breeding projects or less taxing/tamer animals due to unexpected health decline. Many of these I have gotten on this forum or from breeders on here. I've been lazy with the pics but you can always request more if seriously interested.

And I am sorry but I can not, will not, ship first. Meet up within a four hour distance of Niagara Falls, NY preferred.

Ball pythons
0.1 Silver Bullet (juvi, unknown breeder, $300) Eats f/t small rats
0.1 Silver Streak (Sub adult, Hippie Herps, paid $600) Eats F/T small rats but can be a picky eater, gerbils or asf helps but I'm lucky to know a local breeder with plenty
0.1 Pastel Lesser Genetic Stripe ('15, paid around $350) Eating F/T rat pups like a boss, no hesitation, fast eater
1.0 Crystal Opal ('15, $450) Eating f/t rat pups

Boas (Red-Tail)

0.1 Sonoran 100% het leopard, around 4ft and should be ready to breed soon. (Green Constrictors, $120) eating md f/t rats every 2 weeks, is available only because I'm limiting my collection to what I will breed and he may not fit but if that changes he may become N/A
0.1 Anery 66% ph snow ('15, New Age Dragons, $100) eating f/t rat pups weekly
0.1 Ghost 66% ph moonglow ('15, Green Constrictors, $200) eating f/t small mice, he's a slow growing guy but really sweet (may have found a local home for him in trade for feeders.)

Other-

1.0 Matrix Blood Python. Semi aggressive but I have her semi tamed and a stubborn snake to feed. But I've finally got her eating and pretty well rehab'd as far as temperament just handle her slow and gentle. To feed her leave her alone in a closed box so she can't be seen, with a f/t rat pup for about an hour, sometimes longer and she will eat. Give her 1-2 weeks to adjust to a new environment and start eating again. (?? Age unknown. Juvi. Traded to me, no details on her, but $100)

1.0 Southern Black Phase White Lip Python (AHP Exotics, he's 9', unknown history, $600 discounted, I paid $1200)
He's got wounds still being treated by me from his previous owner, but they are cosmetic damage only, scar on top of his head and a few bottom scales slightly uneven from what may be minor burns. EXPERIENCED ONLY. He is large, strong and often aggressive. A beautiful boy and sweet if he's in a good mood but you never know. Handle him with caution and respect, keep calm, you should be fine with him. You must keep up his treatment, he arrived at my home very injured and unwell and I hesitate to put him up since he isn't in perfect shape but I mean he's healthy otherwise, he is definitely strong and feisty. And too much for me now that I've an illness that makes it all too easy for him to injure me badly. For an experienced keeper in good health, he's not so bad and I mean if you treat him good and respect his boundaries as best you can he can be a decent fellow he's just not a social guy. He isn't nasty, he gives plenty of warnings and is polite about it really, if he wasn't so large I would never get rid of him just for being cranky but he IS huge and so his temperament is a risk to me sadly.

Looking for an Ivory Blood or a Blue Tegu, or high white argentine tegu. May be interested in other unique boas or ball python morphs or localities of boas or iguanas. High red mountain boa adult would catch my eye, so would a high red blood boa. Or a leucistic rainbow boa, preferably bicolor eyes. Will trade partial cash if I really like what you're offering.

Won't let me edit but I WILL ONLY MEET LOCALLY after a bad experience with someone who gave no references, claimed to have shipped out before I confirmed I was ready to ship that day (so I felt pressured to hurry it up) and my husband got suspicious saying he didn't think they sent them and if they did I could just ship the next day since this was my ad they were responding to anyway. Well I got called a scammer and they confirmed they could halt the shipment of the snakes. So I have no idea what to think. Whether we were just two honest but paranoid people, I don't know.

I do know it's clear that a lot can go wrong in a shipping trade so for a trade with valuable snakes I will only meet locally within about a 4 hour radius.

Unless you are a big name, verified good guy seller who only wants to trade 1 or 2 of my snakes for another snake.

And finally the purple passion has sold for $300 and the promise of an eventual offspring.

So, no purple passion.

It turns out the person was not honest and was trying to scam me. Some guy called John Fick in Dundalk. After this experience I'm just not feeling like doing trades anymore but I don't know how to delete my post...

Hey. I work with animal rescue in my local area, I volunteer and rehabilitate sick, injured and often aggressive reptiles. I know the local breeders, the other rescue workers, all the pet shops. Everyone around here knows each other and I've seen it all by now. Knowing who I know, what I've seen in reptile rescue and what I do for a living - seriously think you can con me? Think again. But oh, I encourage you to try. Next best hobby of mine is catching scammers scamming and exposing them for what they are. Stop making everyone else in the reptile trade look bad or just pray you never run into me.
To everyone else: have a blessedly wonderful day! Cheers.

Anyway I plan to post the entire interaction on the BOI when I get a chance to because even though he didn't get my snakes, he tried to and sent me a box with nothing but an empty perfume bottle and a clearly stolen iPhone. I tried reporting it to the post office as suspicious but they would only take it back if he had threatened me so they told me to give it to the police along with the details of everything which I've contacted the police already and hopefully he gets some kind of... Something. I mean, it's a stolen phone... that's got to be illegal? That he had it and sent it saying that it was these high end blood pythons. I don't know, if that isn't illegal it should be. I'm just glad I said I would wait to ship until the next day (which he flipped about) and I didn't cave under pressure when he said he had already sent his snakes, he raised too many red flags for me so I refused to ship so many of my snakes on the same day and yeah wow I'm glad I did.

I'm still downsizing for various reasons, primarily being an unexpected health decline, so I guess later I will post what of my collection I'm slimming down on as for sale all with individual pics once I get a chance....

But yeah unless you're local I'm just not going to trade after all that I just had to deal with; or unless you ship first.... if you still want me to email then sure... but it's a waste of time if you are not local and/or want to trade on the same day. I do have trade deal references I can provide, but I don't generally trade reptiles often as a rule, so.

I guess email me here if still interested: [email protected]

That's my husband's email but we share basically everything, so. (The only thing we don't share is a fauna account lol... We weren't sure if that's a rule infraction.) To avoid a reply from my husband, please refer to me and say you are emailing for me by name, nickname or just say "for your wife" I mean whatever works but if you don't refer to me and he sees it he might assume it's random spam and delete it unless you open with something that he would recognize as related to me or our reptiles. They're all named after comic book characters so I guess even saying Quicksilver the Silver Streak BP as the message line would probably work and it's not hard to guess names of all our pets if you know your comic stuff well or watch a lot of the latest TV series' like Lucifer,.Preacher, Flash... I'm over explaining this, I think, sorries! I talk too much. Just ask anyone.
