I ran into several problems purchasing from this guy:
He put off shipping her on two separate agreed-upon dates with the excuses "I'm not allowed to go home for 72 hours and cannot ship her", and then "I forgot to order a heat pad". Regardless as to whether or not these are true, he had a good chunk of my money and I didn't have a snake for weeks after.
Finally I received her today, and was horrified to discover that she was CRAWLING with mites. I notified him about it and he told me he'd been battling a mite infestation (would have been good to know before purchasing!) but denied having seen anything on her.
She is also so thin her spine is blade-like, either from long-term infestation, or what he calls "slow growing".
I asked if he would be attempting to rectify the situation, and received a line of excuses and diversions for hours. He concluded by asserting that he was the victim in all of this, that he's been nothing but nice, that I have an attitude and am "more upset" by this than him (clearly) and that he didn't like being threatened. I did not threaten this man in any way.
Maybe everything he said was true; that he didn't see any mites, etc. All I know is, if I'd sold an animal that was so thickly infested with mites, I'd be HORRIFIED and I'd do everything I could within reason to make it up to my customer. He apparently disagrees.
