    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

First thing this morning I was greeted by these two little pastel beauties from Heather at Heathers Herps. Both arrived well packed and toasty warm.
I am completely smitten by the little boy who didn't seem bothered in the least by the trip across country! Heather did a great job with these slither kids and I cannot thank her enough! As the now "famous" saying goes....You can't go wrong with Wong!! Thanks Heather!

I snapped a couple quick photos before they went into QT....

Here's the handsome little man

Heather is a pleasure to work with. Top notch animals, and willing to answer any and all questions. An A+ in my book!! :D

I just completed a breeder loan with Heather that lasted well over a year and finally resulted in each of us getting a pied Ball Python.

With my females being out of my care for so very long (and I’m maybe a little obsessive about my animals…..maybe just a little) there were a lot of places this could have gone wrong~ but Heather and I both went out of our way to make sure we considered the others costs and needs as much as reasonable and adjusted the loan contract in ways that benefited each of us much as possible whenever we could ~ such as Heather offered to adjust the contract in my favor when it looked like we would only produce one pied (but luckily we produced two) ~ I adjusted the contract in her favor when we realized shipping was going to cost CONSIDERABLY more this year than it would have last year when we made the shipping stipulations in our original contract.. It turned out to be a good deal for me~ finally getting me that pied (and a black pastel, a pair of het pieds and a trio of possibly, possible het clowns) and I *think* Heather came out of the deal just as well. Thanks a lot Heather. There are a lot of places this could have broken down or just turned ugly ~ but we held it together and I’m very pleased with how the loan worked out!

Aint she perty?
Her name may be “White Whale”!

Heather is a great asset to this community, Shes not only helpful, but shes friendly and fun to talk to! Shes a great friend too.

Shes definitely got some top notch critters to boot!

Well guys no photos of the little ones i just received from Heather but she brought me down 3 females, a pastel, a mohave, and a spider, and a male yellow belly. Heather is truly a big asset to our community. She delivered them to me here in Las Vegas and was a great guest to my Wedding to boot lol. Thanks Heather and The Joel looking forward to many more dealing with you in the future.

Heather is a delight, Joel's not to bad eithier... *LOL* Actually Joel is down to earth too and one of the nicest people you could ever meet... If there was any one in the BP market I would deal with, its her.. Up front and straight to the point and very well kept aniamals..

My better half did some work for Heather last year on her web site in 07.. It was a trade deal, and Heather kept her word and promises a year later when the deal was completed.. Me and the Wife had no worries what so ever.. This young lady is one of the few people I consider A+..

Regards.. Tim of T and J's Corns

Good Gal!

Heather is truly one of the Good Gals in the industry. She is a genuinely nice person with a great collection of snakes. I'd recommend her without hesitation.

I just bought a spider male BP off of Heather Great communication and a pleasure to do business with. I will definitely keep her in mind when looking for future BP's.

I've been to Heathers place a couple of times and her animals have always looked very healthy and well kept. Heather is a friendly gal and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from her

No questions, if you're looking to buy from Heather, no freakin worries, just do it.

Just received a pair of Het Pieds from her yesterday. I have so many good things to say about her that I wouldn't know where to begin. Heather is a wonderful person to deal with and you will have ABSOLUTELY NO WORRIES dealing with her. Gorgeous animals and as healthy as they can be. I will absolutely buy from her again and again. Thanks Heather, you're awesome. :thumbsup:

I have never personally purchased an animal from "The Wonginater" but she is a great asset to the reptile community. She is very knowledgeable and has some great looking animals. She is one of the guys (Gales) out there! I will have a few of her animals in my collection.

Yes it is hard to top The Wonginator. I have a few animals from her and love them all

Never purchased from her, but she has helped me out a great deal in the past, and I believe her to be a wonderful asset to the reptile community. If I was working with BP's, I guarantee I'd be buying from her.

I just completed a trade deal with Heather and couldn't be happier with the outcome. She was great to work with and the animal I received? WOW!

I purchased a Het Pied Male and a yearling Normal gal from Heather at the last NARBC Show. Awesome customer service and a great person all around!

Just another bit of praise for Heather - I purchased 1.2 het albinos from her not too long ago. Heather was super friendly and a pleasure to do business with. The snakes arrived in excellent condition, and I couldn't have been happier with how the transaction went. Thanks again, Heather!
