I have an adult Leo since last April... this is our first winter together. He is about 2 years old.
He slowed down and started eating less and I didn't worry too much thinking it was the season but now he hasn't eaten for almost 3 weeks!!!
He has not lost any weight, his tail is still nice and fat, he comes out and when I offer him food all he wants is climb on my hand. He is alert and curious, he doesn't look sick. His colors have not faded. He is still pooping (much less than normal of course).
A few more details: he is in a 20 gallon tank with 1 humid hide on the warm side + 3 dry hides (warm, cool and intermediate). He has been on paper towels since I got him and constantly has calcium and water available. The temps are 90-93 on the warm (UTH) side and ~78 on the cool side (checked daily with a temp gun). He normally eats mealworms and has refused crickets from the day he met his first mealy.
Should I try giving him waxworms or something else? Should I take him to the vet?
