Hey guys came home to my maternal clutch having the top egg pipped and fluid escaping... (Female was squeezing it when i got home).... Its only Day 45 and looks to be a little lemonblast or pastel inside.... This was a Lemonblast x Normal pairing...
Currently don't have an incubator set up and I have never had this happen before... Egg has been collapsed for about 5 days and now it has pipped... The little guy inside is alive for sure and moving about, however i noticed he still has a fairly large umbilical sack still attached... i left him/her inside the egg, placed into a shoebox on moist papertowels and covered and placed on a heat pad...
Any input on what to do to keep this thing going along okay? anyone else ever have an early pip? what trouble signs should i look for? keep the egg as moist as possible?
any and all help appreciated.
