    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Diamond X Jcp

The Jungle/Diamond Xs will always be one of my favorites. Do you mind my asking where you got her?

No not at all.....I got her at the Hamburg Show in Pa and Pd. only 85.00 for her. So not a bad deal at all. She was a hatchling probabl;y shed once when i got her! So she has progressed a bit. I love JCP and the diamond x is my fav. so i couldn't pass her up. I am going to this show in feb on the 24th to hopefully find her a mate!

She definately is gorgeous. I myself am hoping to make it to the berks show this time, last time my car broke down lol(fixed now, but I dont trust it for a drive over an hour), but I am getting a new one next week so I sould be able to make this one. Hopefully there will be lots of good stuff and it wont be overly crowded. The last time I went was in I think feb of 06 and you couldnt move there were so many people. I ended up only buying an adult male Austrailian water python(who I have since sold, but he is healthy and breeding as we speak), and I gave away my male sandfire beardie, who is also doing well last I heard and is featured on their website. Anyway I am getting off topic, but she will be a beautiful python as she ages, good luck!!!! Dan M.

Thanks dan! It's always great to hear and talk to people going to the same show. I love it. Sucks your car broke down. Glad your egtting a new one as well. Yea the hamburg show needs a bigger building. But i think that's the biggest building in hamburg! haha. It's one of the largest shows on the east coast that's why it's always packed. I have gone to every show except the last one they had i didn't really have the money for anything at the time. This show i am hoping to get my male leo, i want a blazzing blizzard so i am hoping i can find one. The variety always seems to change show to show. Maybe it's just me noticing the different stuff each time as well. haha

I myself have been thinking about going the honduran route until I move somewhere bigger and more permenant. They are small enough for me to keep right now. I currently only have my 2006 Female Tiger retic and my 2003 female Albino Monocled living with me, and my other couple (my male normal burm 14 years old, an 05 female ball thats up for sale, an 01 male het albino ball, and then I have a 05 male pastel ball) are all at my good friends house like 10 minutes from my house. I think I am going to build a rack in like a week or so and get it wired up with the heat tape ect so I can shop a bit at the show if I have the money lol. Maybe I'll see you, and the other 18 million people at the snow. Take care, Dan.

Awesome! Well if you are looking to get rid of any bp's let me know i maybe interested and we could always just meet at the show so we wouldn't have to ship. I really hate shipping. Just seems so stressful and i worry so much about the little buggers. In am not sure that i would be able to take them this time unless you were charging like 10.00 a peice haha.....but i may next time, i am trying to further my breeding projects.

Well the female that is for sale is eating live small rats very well, and is over 700grams(she is an 05) She took some time off from eating this winter and randomly picked up eating again 2 weeks ago(go figure). I paid 200 for her when she was 400 grams, and will sell her to you if interested at the show for 125. I hate to take a loss, but the market changes and truthfully I dont really like balls very much. I wont go lower because at that rate I will hold on to her until novermber or so of next year and either get a pretty penny from a desperate breeder or through her in with the pastel. Here are some pics(she is even better in person).

I was actually interested in the name of the vendor/business, if you remember it.

That's a very nice girl. I am looking for more morphs then anything. Like i said i can't do it at this show. I am getiing my leos and beardies all setup for breeding. Bp will be next year so i maybe that desperate breeder next year that will need her, or i may tke her in between. Thanks for the offer though. I also got my female for 10 bucks at the hamburg show so if i really would want to i could just buy a few and wait a few years till ready. Not sure what i want to do yet.....haha...Thanks for the offer though.
