    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

Unfortunately due to the fact that I'm moving oversea's this fall, I have to sell my collection. Several good people have offered to keep them for me until I get back, but I: A. Don't want to impose and B. need the funds for moving.

With the exception of the Albino male, ALL of these animals (including the Het Albino Female) were purchased by me from Kara at NERD in 2004.

Here's what I have and individual prices:

#1 2004 0.1 NERD stock Yellowish Blood: $500
I try to be 100% honest with representing my animals and this girl is the only blood that has bitten me (one time). She's not an aggressive blood, but a squirrelly blood and the only one in my collection I don't trust 100% once I get her out of her tub.

#2 2004 0.1 NERD stock: $600
Really nice red. GREAT eater, easy to handle (once she knows you're not feeding her), and just an all-around great snake.

#3 2004 0.1 NERD stock Non-proven Granite: $600
She has the side markings of a granite. Whether this proves out to be genetic or not I don't know, so she is priced as a normal. She's a bit of a hisser, but she's all show and no go.

#4 2004 0.1 NERD stock Het T+ albino: $2000
The picture speaks for itself...she's big, hot, RED, and should produce albino's this year. She's a cage protector. She's aggressive IN her cage, but very easily handled once you get a hand on her and start lifting her out of her cage.

#5 2004 0.1 NERD stock "Sunset" my first blood...DOG tame: $600 (sale pending)
This girl is a great snake. She's so mellow that she typically needs her rats to "bump" her nose before she'll take them. Even then she usually just opens her mouth and rarely wraps them.

#6 2006 1.0 Signoretti Reptiles T+ Albino male: $1000
Really nice colors on this guy. He's about as nice of an albino as you can get short of the cherry bomb. Easy to handle. I don't have a recent picture of this guy. I'll get one up within the next day or so.

#7 2004 0.1 NERD stock red blood (smaller animal): $300
This girl for two years was a problem eater, eating only about a third of all the others, but has since gained a great appetite and eats like a champ.

Animal Plastics VE175 rack with tubs: $650

Total: $6150

I would MUCH prefer to sell them all together and am willing to deliver them, at no extra charge, up to 300 miles from Birmingham, Alabama. Longer distances are possible but at $0.35/mile after the initial 300 miles.

Collection Price (including rack): $4000 (minus $300 if the pending sale goes
through on Sunset)

All animals are voracious eaters on ANY size F/T rat.

References available.

Any questions, just ask!

Thanks.

Hey Jeff,

Thanks for the interest but right now I'd like to keep them all as a package.

It's a pretty sweet package for anyone who wants to get into breeding albino's this year instead of having to wait the 3-4 years. Bloods aren't like balls...the females don't breed after only 18-24 months.

Blood #5 ("Sunset") sold!

The remaining 6 bloods are still available for $2500. This includes the HUGE Animal Plastics VE175 rack. I'll also add a 4-tub CB70 rack with heat and a chest freezer (for the rats!).
