I have an adult unrelated pair of Australian Olive Pythons that are in need of good homes. These snakes are healthy and eat reliably (the way you would expect an Olive Python to eat). They all have only ever eaten F/T and have never been offered live. They have both been kept as pets and have never been bred.
I have had them both since they were smol and they are similar in age - at least 10 years old now. We call the female "Sajja" (pronounced like "Rajah" like the tiger in Aladdin), and she is approx 7-8 feet long and 4.5 Kgs. She is a very active snake, and has the highest prey drive of all of my Olives. We call the male "Loki" and he is about 7 feet long and 3 Kgs. They are very difficult to tell apart in photos, but Loki is obviously smaller than Sajja.
I am located in the Triangle area (Raleigh-Durham) in North Carolina. They are bigger snakes, and I don't have experience shipping snakes let alone bigger ones, so I would prefer to rehome locally. I am rehoming these guys because my lifestyle has changed, and I just can't keep up anymore. I care about these animals very much, and I am looking for a knowledgeable and/or liasis-enthusiastic keeper who can give these guys a better and ideally life-long home. I am asking $250 for Loki (the male) or $500 for the pair. I will not rehome Sajja (the female) as a lone snake.
Lastly is Derelict who is 10+ feet long and about 7.5 Kgs; we call him "Dare." He is an adult male and older than Loki and Sajja. I acquired him about a decade ago and he was already a young adult at that time. He easily is one of my most favorite snakes I have ever owned. Aussie Olives are extremely rewarding to handle, and Derelict really is just a very cool guy for this species. He has never tried to bite, though my experience with their behavior has helped with this. Derelict is still an Olive and therefore very prey-driven, but he is wonderful to handle if you can get him to understand it is not feeding time. I have had non-snake people handle Derelict with delight and ease. I am asking for $500 for Derelict alone, though I am open and willing to negotiate for the RIGHT person or to someone who is interested in all three snakes as a reverse trio.
I am working long hours very often at the moment, so it would be desirable if you did NOT rely on FaunaClassified's messnenger and simply emailed me at: ChelseaLynnLVT @ gmail . com (without the spaces, obvi) and then we could exchange cell-phone numbers to text.
Serious inquires only. These are a very hardy species, but they are not a beginner snake.
