    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

-Sales, Terms & Policy-

Age requirements & Proof of Age:
No animals will be sold to minors, be it a Ball Python or otherwise. All customers must be at least 18 years of age, or older. If suspicions arise in regards to a customers’ age, proof of age will be requested. If proof of age (such as a state ID) cannot be provided, the sale will not commence.

Animal Husbandry:
Although we enjoy talking animals, all customers are expected to have a general knowledge of what they purchase, in order to keep their recent purchase healthy. No responsibility will be held on our part due to keeper error, and compensation will not be provided for such errors. If any questions do arise in regards to general husbandry, please feel free to inquire via email. All emails of this nature will be responded to within 72 hours of inquiry.

Payment Plans:
Although payment plans do come in handy for reserving animals, we do not offer payment plans for animal(s) under $3,000.00 USD in total price (excluding shipping), unless stated otherwise in the animal(s) ad. We will, however, hold an animal on reserve for one full week if a 20% non-refundable deposit is put down on the purchase. The following 80% must be paid in full within the following week by the 4:00 PM the last shipping day (Wednesday).

For animal(s) exceeding $3,000.00 USD in total price, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required, and animals must be paid in full by 4:00 PM of the agreed upon date. If animals are not paid in full by the predetermined time and date, the 25% deposit will be held, and the difference will be refunded. Otherwise, credit will be given on another animal(s).

Payment:
Payment is required in full either via PayPal, or US Postal Money Order, prior to the animal(s) being shipped. Money Orders will be cashed and clear prior to the animal(s) being shipped. Credit Card is also accepted via PayPal. If you wish to pay through Credit Card, contact through email is best. A Payment request will be sent off within 24 hours of inquiry for purchase.

Money orders must be sent priority with a tracking number. If no tracking number is provided, the animal will not be marked as “held” and remain up for sale. If false, or counterfeit money orders are provided, we will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law possible.

Refunds:
All deposits are non-refundable, once made. Credit is issued for the difference of payments vs. deposit, if a refund is requested. If a problem or incident does occur (such as a DOA), we will give credit towards another animal, or issue a replacement. If a replacement animal is not available, we will issue a full refund.

Trades:
Trades are normally not considered. Although trades can be a great way to build a collection, we are very selective about who we purchase from, as well as (if not, as important) the appearance of the animal. If a trade does come along, references will be requested, along with photos of both the animals’ pattern and underside. Photos of the animals’ parents may also be requested. We do not ship first in a trade, unless otherwise agreed upon. Once we receive confirmation of the animals being shipped, we will in turn ship.

Shipping:
Shipping is done via FedEx Priority Overnight. We hold a waiver to ship through our own account, as well as utilize ReptilesExpress.com. Shipping will not be done in temperatures below 60F, or above 90F. If shipping is agreed upon for temperatures at or above 90F, animals will only be shipped to a local FedEx hub for pick-up. Animals will not be shipped to a residence, or business, while temperatures are (or exceed) 90F. Animals will not be shipped in temperatures below 60F. No exceptions.

Shipping is done on Tuesdays for Wednesdays, or Wednesdays for Thursdays, only. All animals are shipped in brand new boxes, assembled the day of shipping. All orders shipped above 80F will be shipped with a cool pack. Other orders shipped below 70F will be shipped with a heat pack. All hatchlings and juveniles up to 300 grams in weight will be shipped in a Deli cup with fresh shredded aspen. All other animals will be shipped in a properly sized snake bag, varying upon the animals’ size.

Live Arrival Guarantee:
All animal(s) are guaranteed to arrive live, healthy and parasite free. All animal(s) shipped were feeding regularly on the listed prey items prior to being shipped out. We cannot be held responsible for non-feeding animals. A myriad of problems could be occurring due to keeper error, including not having the animals’ enclosure properly set up, or proper heating. There are just too many potential errors involved on the keepers’ part, to guarantee feeding. All animals will include a feeding chart that may be requested before making a purchase.

In the event of a DOA under listed conditions, a replacement animal will be shipped. If no replacement animal is available, a refund will be given, excluding shipping costs. If any problems arise when receiving the animal(s) purchase, we must be contacted within 24 hours. If we are not contacted within 24 hours of the packages’ arrival, it will be assumed that the animal had been received in good condition.

Genetics & Sex Guarantee:
All animals are guaranteed properly sexed an accurately represented of their genetic lineage. All heterozygous animals for recessive mutations will come with signed and notarized photo quality paperwork, an Identification number, a description of the animal and an accurate photo of the animal being represented. If heterozygous animals do not prove out after their first season, please contact us so we are aware. By the second season, if the animals have not proven out, discussion of compensation will be arranged.

Sex all new arrivals, as soon as possible. If an animal received is not the correct sex, or mutation; please contact us immediately in order for the situation to be handled. All situations regarding this type of error are very rare. If this does happen, it will be handled by us promptly and professionally; Period.

Receiving your shipment:
An individual must be present for all packages shipped to a resident or business, excluding held packages at a FedEx hub. A signature will be required for all residential or business received packages. If the package is not signed for and received at delivery time, live arrival guarantee will be void. Once the package is received, please open and inspect the animal in order to verify its’ health and condition upon arriving.
