    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

Just curious if anyone has done business with him. I am in the middle of a deal with him right now. I can't get a hold of him right now but he is in Florida so i hope everything is okay. I am sure the transaction will go just fine, I just wanted to know if anyone has done any business with him.

I have a friend who just bought a pair of his Het CalicoX 100% het albino animals on Kingsnake, and was totally disappointed. Not only was the female not the one he sent pics of, but he said that they had probably never eaten since they were so small, and from what I saw of them they had probably not even had their first shed when they were shipped. He has since sent them back, and now cannot get a hold of him probably due to the hurricane, but no refund has been given yet. He can reach him when he calls from his girlfriends phone, but when he calls from his phone, he(Nick) will not answer.

This is just what I know based on a deal a friend of mine did with him. I have seen the animals, and know the story, but these are not my animals.

Sorry, just had to add that the animal that he is selling are not double het calico, albino. They are het calico poss het albino. The breeding was calico to het albino, but the paperwork he sends says that they are het calico het albino. That is enough for me to not want to do business with him. If he is selling them as hets, then in my opinion he does not know enough about genetics.

Personally I would never buy from him.

I'm interested in some Morelia he has but, this seems to be his only feedback...
Anyone deal with him recently?

Same here, has anyone done any business with this guy? GOOD, BAD, KINDA, SORTA, BOTH? I am looking at some animals too, and would like some info?? ANYONE, ANYONE????
Thanks,
Jason Chapman

Yea Nick is the absolute biggest asshole you'll ever meet. He's a lying, money hungry jerk who only cares about himself, not the aminals. Poor conditions, mites on all his snakes. Did I mention he's a hell of a liar?

Nick is the biggest jerk you'll ever meet. He is a liar and a crook. Do NOT buy anything from him ever! I'll bet my life you'll regret it!

Nick posted an add for common snappers wanted. We had a mexican common snapper that was on his list of animals that he wanted. We sent him pictures of the animal and he agreed to send us an adult male red footed tortoise, male giant blazing blizzard, 2 unsexed giant baby blazing blizzards, 1.3 captive bred tokay geckoes. We asked for pictures and paperwork to prove they were giants and never recieved any. We agreed to ship the same day. The carrier that we used to send out the snapper lost the package which was no fault of each of ours but he didn't send out until he got the package. We were worried about the animal since the hold up of the animal and he never let us know it got there ok until several days later. He didn't ship out the same day. He shipped out a baby redfoot. The baby blizzards turned out to be a leucistic and we have yet to find out if it really is a giant or not. He used references that have no clue who he is. He never sent out our tokays. He shipped out two days instead of overnight. He never gave us a tracking number. He shipped out a lot later then he said he would. He doesn't return calls or e-mails. He even hung up on us when we finally got in touch with us. He claimed to be a certified Fed-Ex shipper which he is not. He basically went out of his way to screw us over it seemed. I would never do business with him again. The person he used as a reference was so angry that they asked for his contact information and chewed him out for using his name to screw people over. I would never do business with him again and if I am ever in Florida I would love to pay him a visit.

Bad Guy

A few months ago they had an ad on kingsnake for a 9-10 ft male lavender albino retic for $1000 shipped. The animals was pretty much exactly what we were looking for at the time so we contacted them to inquire about the animal. After asking a few questions via email we were satisfied and went ahead and called and orded him and set up shipping for the next Monday. We had requested that the animal be shipped FedEx overnight as this is who we use. Everything during the phone conversations was fine and he even said the he would ship priority overnight. On Monday he called to confirm our shipping address and said he would call back shortly with a tracking number and to confirm the shipment. We waited to hear from him again, but he never called back with the shipping info. Not being overly concerned we didn't try to call back that day and figured that he just forgot and everything was still on for the next mornings delivery. The following day we were up early expecting the package to arrive before 10:30 being that it was supposedly shipped priority. 10:30 passed with no package and we assumed that either FedEx was late or he shipped standard overnight instead, which was no big deal. That afternoon we started to get a little worried so we called to try and get the tracking number. The person that picked up said that he had just left for lunch and to call back shortly, so we waited an hour or so and tried again. Calling for the second time we got pretty much the same response that we had just missed him, but we inquired about the shipment anyway and were told that the package was defiantly shipped the night before. By 6:00 that evening no package arrived and we assumed that FedEx had been at fault. Being that late in the day we decided to call FedEx first thing the next morning to inquire.

The next morning we called FedEx and told them that we had a package coming from us that should of been delivered the previous day. We gave them our address and they preceded to look up any packages that were headed our way. The lady on the phone said that their was no overnight shipments to us but their was one 2 Day shipment. We asked for the origin of that package and sure enough it was our albino due to arrive that day by 3:00. By this time we were extremely upset that we had been lied too and only hoped that the animal was ok. That afternoon around 2:00 the package finally arrived and we held our breath opening the box. Lucky the retic was alive but right off the bat we noticed that he had a fairly large population of mites on him and more disturbing a tick on his neck about the size of a pencil eraser.

Mites do suck but the fact that their was a large tick on him that had obviously been on him for awhile and was easily noticeable really angered us, not to mention he shipped 2 Day after telling us he would ship priority overnight and never calling us back after trying to contact him. We did the math and he saved about $25 sending it 2 Day instead of priority overnight. We would never send any reptile 2 Day, but this was a $1000 dollar animal. Bottom line this guy has no regard for the animals he's selling and is someone we certainly will not deal with again.

Sorry for the long post, below is a picture of the shipping label showing the 2 Day shipping method.

was researching this dealer

I just found some of the same problems posted in RepticZone forums. Apparently some of the members there got hosed by Nick as well. Don't buy from this guy. I can't imagine that the results will be pretty.
