Good afternoon everyone. It was great to learn about this site. I was referred by the lady I got my first hognose from. I have had her for 3.5 years now.
Her name is Miss Piggy which at first felt like a joke as she would not eat reliably for me for a year. I had to try everything. Braining, all the scents, chicken hearts, liver, etc. Everything. She was on reptilinks whole prey for a year until she would take a mouse but boy after that watch out.
She is 347 grams.
100% het extreme red albino
100% het toffee belly
She recently had her first clutch of eggs hatch successfully.
We were very lucky to get a vanilly cherry conda female that we are holding back. She is kinda like her mom. Starting out a difficult eater. She has to be assist fed mouse tails atm.
Everyone else eats un aided except for one male that has to have frog scent.
I am loving my hoggies and cant wait to get and breed even more.
