Hello , I am a recent owner of a Meller Chameleon. I have had him/her for 3 weeks. It does not eat very much and I have had to force feed it. It has become slightly dehydrated. I am misting him 3 - 4 times a day. He gets free ranging time in the middle of the day in our screened in porch area that is heated and airconditioned. The temp in the is from 70-85 degrees. He seems to have the "happy colors" , no black spots when he is in this room.
When he first cam home I fed his pinky rats. He only ate 2, then I have tried to feed him superworms and crickets. He only eats at night or when I am not looking. In 3 weeks he has only eaten 25 superworms and 2 pinkies. He does have a dripper on top of his cage. His cage is a wide bird cage 30" X 16"x 16"
I have been feeding him the Reptiaid XL for 6 days now and his desire to eat has not improved. I leave the superworms out in a bowl and he does not touch them. What can I do??
