    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I don't think saying that would boost sales....but ok. The animals all have paperwork. I imported 20, I now have only 2 males available. I am very forthcoming to friends, family and customers. Not to people that want to start a flame war on the computer.

I don't need to clear my name or reputation. I think thats what the people/regulars on the BOI don't get. I don't have reptiles in my life for a status symbols or to become popular and get a reputation with people that ill never meet/know. On the flip side I have meet some amazing people because I keep reptiles in my life. Ive never asked to be a part of anyones community or hobby. I have reptiles in my life for the past 29 years because I enjoy them.

This BOI has been up since 07-19-2015 in that time I have sold a lot of stuff. Mostly rare high end animals that don't make it up on these adds. How many people would you say since this BOI, let me know that they would like the buy something from me but they read this, and are worried/concerned or just do not want to take the risk?.....One! In a year and a half! One of the most viewed BOI on this site....One? Do you think this BOI system is affective? Or do most people see through the Kenards? This is what I said to this lady when she said "she read this BOI on me". I said that I would send her the animal with zero money down, once she received the animal if she liked it she could then pay me. She said no to that offer. I looked her up on this site and she was having a private conversation with one of her friends, guess who it was?? Lynn Peterson one of the main instigators and fabricators of all the lies. He's uses peoples names hearsay and makes his own scenarios up...like Chris Kenard. Lynn has been pretty quite since he was called out on post #1497 From one of the ladies that he was lying about and putting words in her mouth. Thats the problem with how this BOI system is ran, people can make up what ever they want, with out proof and all the regs will jump in and bully anyone that disagrees with them. Sorry Kenards....I can't be bullied.

Take a break from this guy who knows nothing better than to LIE! I'm not asking you to do anything I'm not going to do myself. I don't have a doubt everyone seeing, & reading this thread, will figure out what he is, who he is, what he is capable of, and what he's already done.

Now he's saying you're teamed up with a child molester, you asked him to prove it, it's not going to happen. You & I both know it's total BS. Look at his past here in this thread, all he does when questioned about anything, is attack the person asking, with lies about their person, or totally dances around the question, or answers with a question, what proof do you have?

He thinks he's immune to proving anything, proof positive, he hasn't answered any questions pertaining to legal import documentation, who did he receive from, etc.,etc. Literally has not answered a single question.

Bottom line he's a scammer, even if he did repay everyone, If not for the BOI, I truly believe they wouldn't of received anything, PERIOD! Some are so blinded by the need or want of some species, they're willing to take that risk, and deal with him. So be it, that's their problem, NOT ours.

He brags, the original op is going to buy animals from him, in my opinion, that's when two fools met!

I am on the other side of the fence with that, I think this BOI should live on forever. Keep posting, add to it. Make it a permanent thorn in the side of a convicted wildlife smuggler and dishonest person in general. Who cares if it's drama. It only affects Garrett....

Fauna gets A LOT of visitors everyday. You may still be able to do business, but just knowing that if anyone googles "Garrett Smith reptiles" and having Google pop up with these Fauna BOI's and your smuggling conviction as it's FIRST links is enough for me to smile at how big a thorn this actually is to you.

You can pretend that all this doesn't bother you, but it does. You can pretend that to be a stand up guy that just got a bad rap, but your record speaks volumes above your pathetic lies that you spew out on a daily basis.

You've said that I don't know you....which is true. I know "of you" by reputation alone. I have read your replies and have seen how you handle yourself to know better than to get to know you. You're just a stain, that's it.

You'll never escape your reputation either. You can lie and say it doesn't affect you, but you know it does. Nobody strives to get a reputation like your's. I have no doubt that in your mind you think you're awesome though. You think the world of yourself, right? The trade database only covers those taxa that have been listed by CITES. Pogona barbata isn't listed so this is a red herring and provides no proof of legal export from Australia or even Europe.

I so appreciate your tenacity here and couldn't agree more. I also don't want to see you get penalized. Read the rules here about bumping threads. If you do so without the right reason, you can incur infraction points.

Here is what the senior permit officer for trade regulation has to say about "exporting" animals legally from Australia. Don't listen to Garrett, he doesn't know what he's talking about. You can contact the person who emailed me below directly as well for more info.

"Dear Mr Proctor,

Thank you for your e-mail regarding the export to the USA from Australia.
The export of live native animals is very strictly regulated. Live Australian native mammals, reptiles, birds and amphibians may not be exported for commercial uses under any circumstances.

You may be allowed to export live native animals for non–commercial purposes such as research, education, exhibition, travelling exhibition or conservation breeding programs or for particular household pets. Under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (the EPBC Act) there is a list of specimens which are suitable for export as pets, provided certain criteria have been met. Currently this list is restricted to only 6 species of birds. Any native species not on this list may not be exported.
