    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

I did a trade with Brendan from Double B reptiles in 2012. He sent me a lithium female that became one of my favorite females in my collection. She was an absolute chow hound and was over 1700 grams by December of 2013. I lost contact with him and I'm pretty sure he sold his collection except a few select pets but I wanted to send him an update and let him know his girl laid 7 perfect eggs for me 7-5-14. Even after she laid she was still a little chunk. She was bred by a pastel ivory. I can't wait to see what her babies look like especially if I can hit the quad. :)

Whoaaaaaah momma that girl is looking gorgeous sitting on those eggs! she looks beautiful as an adult. Damn good to hear from you Chris and thank you for the update! OOO I hope you hit a pewter lesserbelly or three haha. Nobody has done it yet man. I hope the girl I sent you gives you another worlds first to add to your list. Drop me a line bud. I would love to catch up. 2064958266.

Wow. Just wow.

One Pewterbelly Lesser, Three Pewterbellies, One Pastel lesserbelly, one cinnabelly, and a pastel yellow belly. I do believe the odds were slain in this clutch. They all look fat and healthy, just like their momma did when she was hatched. Absolutely perfect example of genetic potential and quality selective breeding. All of the animals that have cinnamon in them totally have the same tail stripe that my original Graziani cinnamon female had.(the grandmother to this clutch)

Congratulations on an excellent clutch, Chris. They look fantastic. Can't wait to see them after a few sheds. If you ever decide that you want to let the lesser cinnamon mom go, and replace her with one of her daughters, I'd love to have her back as a pet, so please keep me in mind.

Yep the odds have been fantastic for this season! (I paid for it last year). Great call on all the combos too! I really became fond of this girl as soon as I got her from you. She not only looks great but she actually has a personality unlike most of the snakes in my collection. I am constantly upgrading so when she doesn't fit in to my plans you'll be the first to know. :) and Mark in the 8 years I've been breeding I've only done 2 trades so I'm definitely glad we made it happen.

congrats on an awesome and healthy looking clutch! momma's a beauty

Lesser Pewterbelly

Heres a couple shots of the worlds First lesser pewterbelly. This girl was tiny. Her yolk was never absorbed even though she was the first one to pip "on her own" she was the last one out. She ended up being about half the size of her clutchmates. Shes a fiesty one though and had 2 meals before her first shed. I like the look of her. She's almost pink.

She is beautiful! Good to see that, despite some drawbacks, she is a feisty one and is doing great.

Gorgeous. Just absolutely gorgeous. I think you just produced my new favorite combo, my friend. Look at that dorsal striping, fading, and overall purple coloration. I'd take that little girl over a potion combo any day. Her grandparents, mother, and father must be proud. Not to mention her keeper hahahahahaha. Outstanding Chris.
