    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.
  • Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah ty is one rude dude. Talked to him about buying a lewisi female. Told him I'd pay top dollar for something special (female), even if I had to wait a year. Nope i have something coming up this September he says, so he set me up with anders which I was extatic about. Sent me pictures of a lot of supposed females, then when I picked 1 out of the pic of four lewisi babys. He says I can't get that one cus it's NOW a male? Then why send the picture before making sure? He sensd 4 more to choose from And the quality is totally not what I paid for or didnt even resemble the first set of pics he sent. I ask him for a close up pic of the "new" four picks I can choose from and he freaks out! Saying he doesn't have time for this! I don't reply. He finally reply back and says pick now or buy somewhere else i have no time for this?!?!
    Sorry but I'm not going to drop 500+ $ when you're trying to pull a fast one on me.
    On the brighter side he returned my money 5 minutes after the text... super fast with that but couldn't take 5 minutes to send a picture of the "new" lewisi group he was trying to switch up one me.
    Heard nothing but good things about this guy and he turns out to be a rude a**. Over a picture. After I prepaid 2 weeks in advance no questions or haggle with price either. Even offered to pay more .

    I saw some pics of hatchling madagascan collared spiny tailed iguanas that were from a breeding colony you provided. Just wondering if there is any way I could get a male oplurus cuvieri shipped to B.C. Canada?

    This guy is very terrible to work with! I had several tegus for sale. He contacts me to purchase, then as I agree to work out a deal he is becomes very rude and states "I have been doing this for 36years, you do not know what your talking about." As someone who is so called a known breeder as he says. it is very hard to believe he has the ability to sell anything. Then he tells me to ship all my tegus to him then he will pay me. Now that is kind of insane don't you think. Why would anyone want to send there animals free, then receive payment?

    I have proof of email that he wants to buy the Tegus and his excuse is that my fauna account didn't have any record? i was really surprised to hear that great of an excuse. He then says after I am nice enough to call him back after he hung up, "I don't talk on the phone, I want to email instead." This person does not deserve to be someone with a great reputation. He thinks he is the number one breeder of the world. If he was the number one breeder in the world they should be kind and have respect to those that he is trying to purchase from.
    My advice is to not purchase anything from Ty Park! He will waste your time and definitely be rude!

    Last but most important. He sent a Tegu that was severely injured and had no way of living. I have proof of her terrible condition. He states that the tegu must have been stressed during shipping. I asked for a refund or replacement and he said "a sale is a sale!"Ty Park should not be able to buy or sell to anyone. He is very very rude and does not have healthy animals at all! Please stay away for your own good, or take a risk if you please...

    Very terrible person. I have proof of him talking rudely. Hangs up and does not care what you have to say. I would not deal with this person. He will offer you a price and then he will decide not to after all. Has sick reptiles what I have discovered. very disappointed with this guy!

    i have a year and a half old rhino iguana that has something bothering his head or ears or something . when he tries to eat his shakes his head violently and he can't eat . 6 moths ago i took him to the best reptile vet in Utah . She though it was his right ear , so she opened his ear flushed it out and found some blood , but no infection , she did blood work and look x rays and also found nothing even after taking a sample from his ear and stool . he was on antibiotic , anti inflammatory meds , When i got him home i kept him out side as much as i could until it got too cold . months latter he was all good , a week ago its back but not as bad , i have talked to many vets and no one know what's going on . some one on TEGUTALK told be it was from the flower i was giving him that i used miracle gro , Quote ''Miracle gro has been found to contain organophosphates which harm the neurological system of mammals and certainly reptiles .
